Hey guys,
It´s time for the next planespotting episode from Corfu airport. Following the videos on my channel from 2018 and 2019 this is now the newest edition from Summer 2022. Corfu airport is one of the most spectacular airport in the world. Very scenic approach and departure together with some interesting traffic. There are a couple of highlights in this video, like the MD-80 take off at the beginning.

A really great airport, super location and your shots are terrific. What I particularly like are the constantly changing spots, which show me that I absolutely have to visit this airport.

Now that’s what I call a plane spotting holiday. Best of both worlds🇬🇧
Was the last holiday with my wife before she became to Ill with Alzheimer’s to travel. Was only for a week but we did get around the island a bit, just wish we had stayed longer as it was so lovely. She has passed now but have some nice memories, we were there on our wedding anniversary and the hotel treated us so well.
I hope you are okay and I hope your wife will rest in peace

This airport is really crazy, so small, on a piece of land taken from the sea. Traffic had to stop when a plane was about to take off since the road was too close to the end of the runway... 🤔
I spent 2 weeks in 1992 invited by a local guy there. He'd got a house on the hill called Perama I think, the same view as scene 2 so we spent ages watching planes landing.
