It’s a shame these newer ‘asmrtists’ just use it as a way to show off their body for their onlyfans. Just makes Asmr look bad and puts actual Asmr creators down. It’s a shame.

To me, this wasn't uncomfortable at all! The closeness reminds me of hiding under the blanket as a kid, your best friend next to you, trying to laugh quietly so my parents don't find out we're still awake! Blanket fort vibes are the best. Very nostalgic. Thank you! x

Social distance is taking a huge toll on all of us, we're not connecting as humans anymore. This was great - with my headphones in, 24" screen on full, and sitting with my face in my hands, like a kid watching TV, way too close to the screen. Love ya Jen.

Reasons why I this Asmr channel is one of my favourites:
The host, Jen, has an amazing personality; a lot of effort goes into each video; those eyes, you can get lost in them; the triggers are amazing; it’s chaotic; it’s very chaotic; did I mention how chaotic it is (I love it) and finally.... there’s Steven the Octopus 🐙 (he’s very squishy 😄)

The most relaxing part of this video is you being casually yourself. I feel more relaxed with you just talking about nothing and not playing a character. Its like having a friend give me tingles

Best kind of ASMR is close-up ASMR as far as I'm concerned, so I'm not uncomfortable at all.
This is the exact opposite of uncomfortable, especially the bit with the mic covers off, breathy whispers are one of my favorite triggers

I don't know if this is uncomfortably close for me, but I can appreciate the closeness and eye contact; it adds a degree of intimacy. Like the difference between sitting on the couch with someone and cuddling on the couch with someone. The closeness changes it and, I think, makes the experience better. But that's just me - like you said, some people can really find this uncomfortable.
