- Geometry Dash levels have evolved throughout the game’s lifetime. Older levels we used to see in the map packs no longer represent modern creating standards. In the editor, players have pushed the limits of what we thought possible. In this video, we take a look at how levels evolved over time by analyzing levels from a bunch of different updates. We can only imagine what the community will come up with in 2.2!

I come from the future, and i have something to tell you, 2.2 will come out on day 25/12/2022
As RobTop said, 2.2 is gonna be bigger than all the previous updates together, meaning that the difference between 2.1 and 2.2's levels is gonna be as big as the difference between 1.0 and 2.1's levels, so in the future, expect to see levels double or even tripple as good as the current 2.1 levels, which is unimaginable for now...

i kinda love the older design type, nowadays the levels are so complicated just cause of their designs and so hard to read

2.1 players: builds a very good looking level with good gameplay

2.2 players: Builds level with good transitions good gameplay very detailed and not that hard.

I like the newer levels and all, but the levels seem harder with sizure enduring lights and a lot of the difficulty comes not from the gameplay, but from the background

In the 2.2 GDPS if you go in settings and go in GDPS tools/settings and click original textures it gives you the original icons on geometry dash. Advice by GD Swing.
