As RobTop said, 2.2 is gonna be bigger than all the previous updates together, meaning that the difference between 2.1 and 2.2's levels is gonna be as big as the difference between 1.0 and 2.1's levels, so in the future, expect to see levels double or even tripple as good as the current 2.1 levels, which is unimaginable for now... Also great vid :)
you forgot something really important in 1.9 the biggest trend in the history of GD: "Nine Circles levels" if it wasn't for them, people will still suck at the wave to this day.

In the 2.2 GDPS if you go in settings and go in GDPS tools/settings and click original textures it gives you the original icons on geometry dash. Advice by GD Swing.

well 2.2 was confirmed by robtop to release this year. which isnt an official release date. and also robtop loves to delay things so it isnt 100% accurate. but some believe it will release on the summer around july for the gauntlet competition.
