First off let me say I will buy this again hopefully if god gives me the energy to expand my business. I just installed it and works nicely. Breaking position is a little bit awkward because of my car-Honda HRV- and a little hard on the knee. Unfortunately in my package there were no extensions, so it made installation harder. I didn't want to wait. Also it would have been nice if few flat washers were included and few zip ties. I mean what would be the cost for you, pennies. So I had to drive to Target and buy zip ties. Purchase price at $435 was a little steep so I was expecting a complete package, but like I said extensions were missing, no washers and no zip ties. Also a suggestion, not sure why the bracket used for driver side is so short, made installing the safe tapping screw really hard. only if it was a little longer...I know there is a joke in this somewhere lol And I also found out #10 drill bit is perfect, 1/4" maybe a little loose for the cable. Thank you, and god bless.
Hi Dillon. We do not recommend our brake be used in the volt or tesla. The brake requires 2 bolts down through the floorboard one on each side. You cannot do that with these vehicles as the batteries are in the way. Please contact us with any questions. 800-450-9022 or sales@osbrake.com. TY
9/16" drill bit? In your paper it says 1/4". That's a big difference. I am glad I didn't drill yet. Please correct this video. I am referring to minute 2: 14 of the video. Am I missing something? Can you tell me what size to drill on the pedal please? I only have 1 chance to get this right. Don't want to make a Swiss cheese out of the pedal. Thank you.
We do apologize. This is a newer issue we are seeing in the last few months. Some vehicle manufactures are using a metal called Boron in the floorboard. This metal is difficult to drill thru. We are currently recommending installers use a drill bit that is now on the market called the "Boron Killer". You can also use a good bit like titanium or cobalt but may have to stop to sharpen the bit. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns. Thank you sales@osbrake.com or 800-450-9022

I wish you would have emphasized the difficulty of drilling through the floor more. Everything else was easy and it’s a good safe product.
