Are you in your bathrobe when you tweet, Senator Klobuchar?

See the rigged standing ovation at 4:27. The speaker starts talking about marching and slightly raising her voice, and suddenly for no clear reason the people behind her all look to their left and stand up - though not looking particularly enthusiastic about it. Then you see why: a big lady comes into view, walking along the line and waving at them to stand. From the way she stomps and waves her arms you can't help feeling she is rather annoyed at their sluggish response. That she walks right behind the speaker and is therefore exactly where the camera will see her suggests careless execution of this staged standing ovation. I suspect she meant to tell them to stand by a discrete hand signal from one end of the line, but the people didn't notice and she had to embarrass everyone by walking all the way across in full view of everyone.

At 28:22 Elizabeth Warren says "We can provide universal childcare for every one of our babies from zero to six." That is the first thing she mentions in her plan. She calls them "our babies". Whose, the federal government's babies? Babies belong to the federal government? She may have been saying "our babies" in an affectionate way, meaning all of our babies, but the fact is that if parents hand their children over to the govt from age ZERO to six, those parents are virtually saying those children are better raised by the government and may as well belong to it. Then both parents can do something Warren thinks is more important, which is go out to work. Outsiders can bring up those half-unwanted offspring. This is wickedness.
