My kind of place! I want to move here. Just got to convince my wife.
My wife and I visited Thomasville last November and we can't stop talking about it. We decided we want to move there. We are from Miami Florida and we were blown away at how ridiculously CHEAP the houses were up there!!! We saw a house listed at 170k, and couldn't believe it. That same house here in Miami would easily cost well over 500k. The ppl in Thomasville were very friendly. No traffic whatsoever. We absolutely loved it there. We are hoping to move within the next year, maybe year and a half.

Hi Antonio, i'was born in Miami, live in Virginia and have plans to move to Thomasville. I know how expensive it is to live in Miami but the crime rate is scary. WHy pay a lot for a house in Miami when you don't feel safe walking outside.

Having lived most of my life in Thomasville, I can honestly say that it is a town geared toward people who have money. That said...yes it is a nice place to live and work in but as with anywhere you live there will always be pros and cons. Some more than others.
Thomasville is most definitely a great place to work. We do have a big demand for housing that is for sure. I'm thankful that we have Thomasville and Tallahassee so close by for shopping if Thomasville doesn't have what we're looking for!

Your video has helped so much...we will be moving there (99% for sure), husband is going for interview this weekend. We currently live in Tennessee. We just need to explore the different neighborhoods...we would love to be walking distance to downtown...not sure if that is possible. But it does look very charming.

I live in Thomasville it’s really nice here but I can say that there are no great things to do at night other than the skate rink or the bowling alley we also have a shopping center with a berieft of stores and a local movie love you videos and I wish you well in Thomasville ❤

Love that tiny town. A hidden jewel in the south! Been visiting there as often as the family can since 2006. My dad slices there and it’s about time for another visit soon. Plans are to move there. The cons in this video are actually all positives to me.

Thomasville is a town for anyone, wealthy, average, and thugs , but it matches people, who they are inside. It Dr's and Hospitals are some of the best, I've used Dr's and would recommend, Dr Neal (ret. ) Dr Bentley, Thomasville a great place to live.

I am so glad that you mentioned the scent of baking bread. I’ve lived in Thomasville all my life and when Flowers is baking, the smell of downtown Thomasville is just magnificent. I don’t mean to be racist in any way, but one of Thomasville’s cons is that we have entirely too many Mexican restaurants and not enough seafood and steak restaurants. Jonah’s fish and grits and Rock Bottom seafood and grill is wonderful but we could use at least one more seafood restaurant and one more fine steak restaurant.

Not enough jobs in Thomasville georgia. Not enough affordable housing for a single person to afford a single person just trying to make a simple living
Thomasville Georgia is not the best place to live, the roads are terrible, the hospital is crazy having to wait for hours to be seen, restaurants with employees who don’t wanna work and have bad attitudes, you actually have to be rich to shop down town, so no I would not tell someone to live here, just saying!

That sounds exactly like the major city I've lived in my entire life. So much to do but too much crime, the staff at any public place is more often rude and incapable of doing their jobs, traffic is horrendous and the roads you drive on don't get fixed until the damage inconveniences a cop. Buying or renting will break your wallet in no time, and that's just your living quarters.
That's what most people are running from.
