Tassa Drums came to India by the Persians invasions around 600BC then spread to Trinidad and Guyana by the Indentureship. Tassa is an uplifting of celebration of cultural survival and innovation. Tassa drums are played at Hindu weddings, cultural events, and parties in the Caribbean and North America. It is a form of art that is now being recognized by these competition. Very Beautiful.
