The thing about learning new languages is that at one point you stop trying to 'translate' everything and start trying to just understand it. If there is a word you don't know, you put it in perspective to the other words in that language and not your original. The same with idioms and everything else.
When you are at this point you are truly beginning to learn the language. This happened to me in English around 4th or 5th grade. The thing is though, in my country *everyone* knows english. Everyone from my grandma, to the random person on the street. You kind of have to know it. The world talks english, not norwegian.

I'm writing fanfiction in my free-time and everything is in english. It's not without mistakes, but I am confident enough to say it's better written than 80% of all fanfiction. It's not like that means much, mind you.
I also want to write an original book, still everything in english. I'm having a bit of trouble there though, not because of the language, but because of all of the work it takes to write a whole book and create a universe from scratch.
And usually most folks who have english as their second language will understand it perfectly.
BUt will it be true for others like Japanese and cantonese?
I mean, the rules are way too different
@@JonatasMonte can comfirm it's not to hard, not from personal experience, but a friend off me that moved to norway knows Japanese, english and norwegian fluent, and he didn't have any problem learning english and norwegian at the same time at all. Could be it depends from person to person ofcourse, but I think if he can do it, most other pepole can do it

What you could also try is playing "Isengart (verflucht)" and put the AI as Isengard in the fortress - really intrested if the BFME2 master can beat this AI - since I think it's almost impossible to beat Isengard on this map - if u don't believe me you could also try playing as Isengard in the fortress against two brutals- I bet you would be done in less than 5 min :D
Ruud, Gondor did attack Minas Morgul in the Return of the King book on their way to the Black Gate but it was abandoned. Just so you know. :)

I like bfme1 more than bfme2.
They should remake this map for 4.0.
1. Gondor DID attack Minas Morgul, after the war of the ring and took it back
2. Orcs don't grow in pits, they actually reproduce like men and elves aka shagging, it's just that it was irrelevant so not a big deal was made out of it
NO one knows how orcs appear (or Uruks as in this case you might ignore what I'm saying), it was never specified and the way they come in the game is a creative liberty taken like the movie quote from Saruman and Gandalf when talking about orcs and uruks.
Or maybe they do reproduce normally but their origins is uncertain.
JonatasMonte It is not known how orcs reproduce, but as they did came of humans, I would guess just like we do. (I said humans as that's last known version Tolkien did before his death when he changed it from what is written in Silmarillion)

Minas morgul use to belong to gondor it was called Minas ivy but when Mordor took it over they took and it and called it the tower of the moon Minas morgul it took place in the 1st age and 2nd age
Minas Ithil not ivy dumb ass. It was the Tower of the Moon until in TA 3000ish it was conquered by the Nazgul awaiting Sauron's return. After the Witch King of Angmar took up his abode their it was renamed to Minas Morgul, The Tower of Sorcery.
I am back and also one major comment - make the fortresses or defensive stuff look beautiful man! Like don't place buildings on roads - place them nicely - only a true Lord of the Rings fan would do that! TEST for RUUDDEVIL

Hey RuudDevil, I love your videos, just found your channel and I love it as an former BFME player. I have a question for you though..do you know if there are any mods or patches for BFME2 that make combat as in BFME1?
I'm talking about armies totally ignoring eachother and going through like hot knife through butter. That never happened in 1, and it's main thing that killed BFME for me with the sequel.
I loved BFME1 combat mechanics, ability to join batallions and castle play.
Any chance that might still be available through some mods?
in the newest version of the edain mod - since version 4.0 - they reintroduced the castle gameplay of BFME 1
Guys, my Edain mod crashes after I start a Skirmish game. What version of the game do you need for it to work, and is there another reason that could occur this?

Dude, you build way too much infantry, you need archers, spears and cavalry. Also you really need to just gather your full strength first and then attack or (if you can) send out small raiding battalions.
Whoever set the AI on Rohan and Gondor to Trebuchet spam should be fired from one themselves...

Its basicaly like BFME 1, and i have seen other people do videos on the edain mod and they seem to have much more factions and you can construct buildings much like you do in BFME 2? like am i doing something wrong here or what i dont understand

the bowler I personally still play the 3.8 version and don't want the 4.0 version yet, because it's not finished. But I'm pretty sure that 4.0 doesn't have these kind of maps yet. You can still download 3.8 though if you do some searching I think, but the Edain team took that download off their website sadly. If you have 3.8 most of these campaign-like maps have german names, e.g. chamber of secrets = Die Kammer des Schreckens, white council = Der weiße Rat

The Witch-King of mordor is much better than the Witch-King of Angmar in this mod. He is more stronger, has lot of damage and very good spells.
