My boyfriend left on his mission almost 8 months ago, so I totally get how hard it is! It was weird going from talking everyday (texting, FaceTiming) to emailing once a week, and the first couple months were so hard!! I cried a lot, which I felt silly doing, but it’ was so hard! I would just look at pictures of him, old texts, videos, which helped. It didn’t hit me that he was leaving for 2 years, till almost the last couple days we had, but we are strong and can get through it together!!❤️❤️ and reading how happy they are on the mission through emails helps, because it makes me happy, he will have the best time!

Hope you guys can get through this! Your relationship reminds me alot of my own when we were younger. In 2021 he had to move quite far away for school and was gone for a year, it was extreamly hard and difficult but we made it threw and honestly came out stronger. We are 23 and just celebrated 7 years together last weekend! Best of luck to you both ❤

Hey Kes! So I’m 20 and my husband is in the Navy. We have been together since we were 15 and we had to do 1.5 years of long distance and while he was in bootcamp we had no communication for 10 weeks other than 3 phone calls and letters. I wrote a letter every single day and it became so therapeutic because it felt like I was still talking to him, even if he hadn’t gotten my letters yet. My situation wasn’t for 2 years, but what I’m getting to is that if Brock can receive mail, maybe you can give letter writing a go!! You can send pictures and write all about your days and then you can still continue to text him even if he can only communicate with you once a week. I know y’all can do it and I can’t wait to see y’all’s relationship grow even more💗
I believe with all my heart you guys are going to make it through these 2 years and it’s going to make you both stronger than you are now and your relationship!!! Love you both!!!

Kesley, just remember he not leaving you, Brock is spreading Gods word and as long as Brock is doing God's work and doing what he is suppose to be doing, God will make a way for you both. I'm very proud of Brock. Also you will finish up with school, then hopefully y'all get engaged and then a big beautiful wedding 💕 I really feel this God's choice for you both. Just keep the FAITH and believe and pray about this. I really believe it will all work out for you both. You can do this! Yes it will be hard just talking once a week. But also focusing on what you want to achieve is good too. I also have heard after the 1 year it will fly by.. but the end result will be amazing! ❤ you both are strong and if you love each other you guys will be okay. No, they’re gone fully for two years and family/friends aren’t allowed to come visit and he also can’t come home to visit plus they can only talk one day a week
