That’s way better than a DUCK!!
If I lived near there I'd pitch a tent and invest in a shovel, bucket, sifter, and rake!!
Awesome video that first one is definitely a smoker! We subscribed so good luck with your channel 👍👍👍
@@djthur01 thanks buddy we appreciate it. I’d love it if there were large points here in East Tennessee. I’d stroke out if I found those 8-10 inch points like you’ve found 😂😅I guess you want what you can’t have, ours are 2-4 inches here. Most times 2 is average 👍👍👍
Those flutes are native to the Appalachian and are worth up to $40,000
Looks like impact fractures
Been watching these videos for few days ,it occurred to me that most of this stuff that you find that's whole has probably come from a grave or somewhere someone died but it was so long ago all his bones and all wooden shafts and stuff would have rooted away until it's basically dirt . Do you collectors actually think about that ?
From my point of view those things would be tupo and have mana to them or a spirit attached to it . That's just the Maori side of my NZ culture coming out of me . Basically means that these things would have spiritual power (mana) attached to them from the land ,from the person who made and used it and from any animals it killed. And picking it up is taboo ,you could get cursed from it unless you say prayers to the ancestors who made it or to the land that gave it up. It's incredibly cool I'd love to do it I was just wondering what's your take on it
We would never hunt an Indian mound or burial area. Most likely camps were set up on this land around creeks over thousands of years as we have found points from 12k-2k BP and they were just abandoned or lost, but I guess that’s not to say it isn’t possible.
Is there anyway I can send you a pic I found a point that for the life of me I can't find anything that looks like it....
@@djthur01 to me it looks like a harpoon point that's the only way I can describe it....
Awesome , very interesting, new friend here. Have a great day
