I was watching this game live in the Dome that Sunday with a friend from Detroit,..... who was crushed by my Saints. He thought his Lion QB, Matt Stafford, was better than Drew Brees before they kicked off,... Opppps! Great start to the Best Super Bowl Season for the Black/Gold.
Bro Wyatt, you're like the ultimate Saints fan, and I came back to watch all these highlights cause I was unfortunate enough to be too young to watch this season and know what it meant (I was new to the USA and NOLA in 09). Barely remember the SB but watching Drew on the sideline made me tear up, we might never see him on football after this year.
I remember my Uncle Enrico (RIP) saying the Saints are gonna go far even won the division after the Saints converted 2 first downs in this game and EVERYONE Thought he's gone nuts! Then the Saints actually gone and done it! He won't stop yelling "Smell Greatness" every time he gets anything good, from food to Christmas presents! 😁 Thank goodness I found your Channel Wyatt! brings back so many great memories! 😀🔥
I went absolutely crazy that season... An I wasn't the least bit concerned when saints lost their last 3 games after receiving home field advantage.. Because I knew they would turn the burner on
You can find the redskins game on NFL Throwback’s CZcams channel and you can find some Saints vs Patriots highlights on yt as well but they are very vague... sorry for not uploading those. That game was one of 5 games that were blocked on yt (those being vs the pats, redskins, and all 3 playoff games)
