- Footpegs make a huge difference on a motorcycle trip. If you ride off road and stand a lot, these pegs will help a lot. Not cheap but worth it.

I tried a set of Pivot Pegs years ago. I did not care for them and avoided them after that.
Then my VStrom came with them. I was not a fan at first, quite anoyed actually, but by the time I got back to NY the pivot no longer annoyed me. 😁 - Frank
They do feel a little strange at first. Sounds like that V-Strom was quite farkled.
That's absolutely great pegs and right it is more comfortable as a footrest bro. Very also nice that it would twist 20 degrees for more better riding position. Keep it up and more vidz to come bro. Always pray before you Ride. RIDE SAFE ALWAYS with your limit brother 🙏☝️😊💯❤️

I've got the same pegs on my DR!! When standing and riding on flat ground I like the ability to roll on foot forward and one back and then reverse. It helps keep the blood flowing and minimize stiffness on longer rides!

I wonder if they make some for my bike. Check out those trails, wow, here in VA I have to ride far to ride on decent roads. Love the grunt of the DR.

I have the Mk3 pivot pegz on my VStrom 1000XT. They work well. I’m not sure I find value in the pivot part, but do think the sharp teeth and extra platform room to stand on are great. There is no way your boot will ever slide off them.

Seems to be very well made and shaped. I think that they are very appropriate for those that have larger feet. Why is there that sandy road in the middle of the woods? :) Nice video William. Keep it up.
Hi Gregor! The shape of the pegs is really good. The sandy road is an access road for several homes back in the woods. This portion of North Carolina is known as the "Sand Hills" due to it being such sandy soil. I had another area to test the pegs but I had some technical difficulties which shortened the trip. Being able to pivot +20- degrees should help out when you’re standing, allowing your back and legs to have a little more flexibility? Being able to stand longer because it’s more comfortable, means longer and better saddle time as well. OR maybe it won’t make that much difference? Lol. We’ll see?

Awsome pegs Doc, I've been wanting to try them since they came out. Being the Warp9 junky, that's where I went and I like the idea of being able to replace the inserts. I'd be interested on how they feel trail riding where you have to shift and break a lot. Pivoting pegs as your trying to shift and break might take getting used to. Let me borrow them for a couple weeks....lol
Hi Jon! I have also been wanting to try them for a while also. Shifting and braking seem to be easier due to the pivoting action. They only pivot at about 20 degrees so it is not all that significant. They do feel great on your feet due to the wider platform.
I was looking at getting some Fastway Adventure pegs but they are $435 AUD here 😨 I also liked their Fastway Air Ext and emailed Fastway to see if they can incorporate the extention in their next iteration of the Adventure footpeg. They said they would make a note of it . . . but who knows. I might have a look into these ones instead.
I was looking at the Fastway ADV pegs also but they are expensive here in the US also. They do look like they provide excellent support for your feet with the extension. These pegs are about half the price and the slight pivot is actually a real bonus. I believe they are made in Australia, so you know they are a quality product that has been tested quite well. They do make it more challenging due to the lack of flexibility of them. They are kinda like wearing ski boots. The offer lots of support and protection if you fall over. I wouldn't try and walk very far in them though.

I just put on some MOTOZ Tractionators Desert H/T front 90/100/21 (fatty) www.chapmoto.com/motoz-tractionator-desert-h-t-hard-terrain-tube-type-front-tire.html and a RallZ tube type rear 130/80/17 www.chapmoto.com/motoz-tractionator-rallz-tube-type-rear-tire.html . Excellent tires with a huge amount of tread and traction off road. Those pegs are significantly bigger and it's cool how they pivot. On a ride, what percentage of the time do you stand ...or does it depend upon the type of trail you are riding?
Hi Jody! The pegs are quite a bit larger than stock. As far as standing, off road I do it all the time due to more control (shifting weight with my feet) and better visibility. On road, it is usually due to a sore butt during a long ride. LOL!

@@doc650adventures gotcha!! I sometimes stand up on my Spyder but I don't do it for long and it's usually a wide open space because the spyder only has one brake...a right foot brake.
