Catching the Light with the Rainbow Nation

In September 2013 a group of scientists and engineers from SPECIFIC, Swansea University, Bangor University and the University of KwaZulu-Natal undertook a 2 week outreach project in Durban and Mafikeng, South Africa.
During the 2 weeks, over 1300 school children attended workshops on the subject of chemistry and photochemisty.
