  • Judge Judy is going viral after calling out Manhattan’s prosecutor for spending millions of taxpayer dollars on a nonsense Trump trial while criminals who make it unsafe to walk the streets or ride the subway in NYC roam free. Let’s talk about it.

I always felt like Judge Judy was what feminism claaimed to be throughout my college years. She emphasises the individual and acknowledges the short coming of women but not in a way that creates braindead revolutionaroes but isntead people who learn to face the adversities and accept their strengths rather than play the victim

    • @CalsGirl97

Exactly and that's a feminism I could get behind. I remember when I was a teen girl and I ran into Clementine Ford's brand of feminism. That turned me away from it all together. I was told I was a bot, brainwashed, misguided, and a guy pretending to be a girl all because I didn't like that Clementine signed a book with "Have you killed any men today? If not, why?"

@@SaturdayParker I don't think feminism was right. Even in its incarnate forms. It was a different system with its pros and cons just like the patriarchy. I would argue infact that maybe it wasn't worth it seeing what it has devolved to. I think we are socially conditioned to like feminism because, well, we don't want to be woman haters, do we? Social revolutionaries seek to tear down structures without knowing what they're for. I think that's what we did with feminism. Maybe the previous system was too rigid but it was rigid as a result of social contagion not actual force. So is feminism.

We even have some truckers still sitting in jail (3 yrs later) for mischief charges and just now going to court. Then they realized all those laws they were told would prevent people in need from protecting themselves couldn't get firearms during their need to protect themselves. And I saw a recent headline that CCW permits in Los Angeles increased 47000% after Bruen. Which, admittedly, wasn't a major achievement since there were only 4 before. But it does show the citizens do want to be armed.

10:05 Critically, she believes *part* of the difference between men and women is natural, which is virtually undeniable.

Judge judy is among the last sane and perhaps wise voices in the spotlight.

she is one of the most level headed people i have seen, i folowed her show for years and i learned so much.
eg one of her qoutes is - if it does not make sense its probbaly not true, another is - beauty fades but dumb is forever, she is all about personal empowerment not being part of a group or crowd.
the phase think for yourself has been around for a long long time but very few people actuly do that.
as it takes courage to stand apart.

My grandmother and I used to watch Judge Judy everyday when I'd get home from school. We would laugh at every episode! She's awesome!
