I have to say that I have previously been very anti EDL and Tommy Robinson and I find that since Tommy has distanced himself from the EDL, his opinions and his ability to debate calmly and rationally with all sorts of people have surprised me. He has obviously done a lot of research and is very well informed. I wish him well and hope that he will continue to raise issues which we should all be prepared to discuss openly and calmly. So thanks to Your Opinion and Tommy Robinson and the other guests for presenting a discussion on topics which can be very divisive. Respect

I've seen so many interviews with Tommy Robbinson. Every single interview he does, he is far smarter than all the other guests combined. This guy should be running our country
Kudos to these guys for putting the program together and doing the following good things:
1. Giving everyone a platform anyone.
2. Keeping the emotions low and discussion on topic and rational.
3. Being fair to and representing all sides, including the middle-ground.
4. Fulfilling a much needed aspect of media of real philosophical debates that is missing from mainstream society.
5. Keeping their own opinions or biases out of how they present the program information without a slant or bias.

This reminds me of a programme called after dark which aired in the19990s. T is refreshing to hear such calm conversation from a Muslim and the former leader of the English defence league. the more I listen to these debates the more I learn. I was and still can be at times full of hate toward Islam. Tommy is right when he says that sharia will never be compatible with western values. but I also agree with the imams view that words and there meanings change over time. look for instance at the word GAY. when I was growing up it meant Happy. now if you say some one looks or seems GAY it means they're Homosexual. and there's hundreds of not thousands of New meanings for words every generation. Really great result in this 'positive discussion platform'. Very humble and constructive, more conversations like these need to be heard and taken to consideration. I agree that we all are human and should respect each other based on those basic principles of peace and freedom to be human beings without harming or silencing other human beings. Many good things can be learnt from this discussion and I think more religious or community leaders / societies and speakers need to all collaborate in this same positive "pr-freedom" manner to ensure extremism and anti-human practices are addressed and NOT TOLERATED.
