- Here’s 60 seconds of snippets from a VERY IMPORTANT visit today . This rescue pony ( famously one of 8 all found emaciated and dying a few years ago ) He was the worst and was put in a sling to hold him up for a long time and have horrid ulcers tended to . Well fast forward a few years and he can no longer tolerate all the vets injections and the farrier . It has gradually got to where he is very dangerous to halter and work with . He has learned to protect himself by striking out and rearing . This was his last chance and Steve did everything he could again . FULL VIDEO TO COME!

I love the crowd at the gate
Cool little tank of a pony!!!
Quite different this pony with his " boxing" front
feet, I've never seen that before. You did well Steve but then you always do, really admire your true horsemanship in every situation. ❤
My gelding does this when the dentist takes “too long” to file down his excess teeth and the osteopath touches a sensitive spot. And also if I stop to chat with someone and he thinks I'm talking too long 😅
Eager to see the full video. What a beautiful pony - with concerned 'family' members watching on. The 'audience' made me chuckle. Always a pleasure to watch your expert guidance and the positive outcomes, @Steve Young Horsemanship.
Steve to the rescue once again 😊
wow, Steve , i'm thankful you didn't get hurt.
Love this pony! Like a mini work horse
Your amazing my friend❤🕯...love you both Tanja
Looking forward to watching the full video 💕🐎
There's always something for me to learn from you.
Greetings from the Dominican Republic
Steve you do wonders with any horse u come in contact with. This little pony can have a great life now. U saved him.
I can't wait for this full video to come out here!! You always teach us something, Steve!! Your friend, the Retired Paramedic and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦
Awe poor baby ❤️
Hes beautiful!❤
Wow! It sure looked extremely risky. Dealing with this horse. Looked pretty dangerous. I’m surprised you didn’t get kicked several times in that two minutes. You’re an amazing pro.
Well Steve, I know you'll master the trickster soon enough!!
What I found so touching was the way the pony kind of pawed at Steve a number of times. Not an aggressive striking out (though would have hurt no doubt if it connected) but more a panicking defensive gesture as if to say "Leave me alone! Get off me!" The poor animal was just afraid and wanted to defend himself until he began to realise Steve meant him no harm. Can't wait for the full video.
Looking forward to the video.
Is this the same pony that dragged you around the corner and pretty much out of sight? I thought we were supposed to see the full video today.
These are the cases I especially like to watch … it just shows you as such a star to being able to deal the most difficult of difficult with the end result being in a manageable state, whereby the horse may have a future!
Happy Trails! 🙏🙌🇨🇦❤️🍏🐴🥕🐎🍎
Fabulous!
Glad you had a helmet, but did you have a cup?😂
Looks like another interesting project. Can't wait to see all of it.
Steve I have a question. Do you ever lead your horses up at your shoulder instead of behind you?
❤❤❤❤
The other horses watching 😆
