I wish they would make a double case as follows: no exterior pocket; plain smooth on the exterior, no velcro, all so that sliding in and out of vehicle and other places it doesn't hang up on other items; inside walls molle from end to end; inside walls both identical, with no difference, and without the end pockets for the rifle on one side, so that I can choose which side I want to put rifle and which side I want to molle in pouches; plenty wide on the edge side so that there is plenty of width for pouches.

I'm looking at the 511 CaseStyle 42" DOUBLE RIFLE CASE. Waiting to hear back from 511 as to whether both sides lay flat when opened completely. If so, will probably buy one. Edit: That one has an exterior compartment, but it doesn't look so deep that it will hang up easily, and from their photos it appears that the exterior compartment has two zippers that can be locked together like the bag does.

Thanks for good video. On the single rifle bag, unless I'm mistaken and you just didn't unzip it all the way, I see at 3:52 in the video that the bag doesn't clam shell open all the way. With that, if you open it as far as it will go, if you lay one side flat, the other side will pop up. That really sucks and makes it a No Sale for me. Also, the single has just those two molle lines on one side, very disappointing. No Sale.

Double is on sale $136 on 511 website. But it's only 4 inches deep (stand up edge) according to website, and they don't say if that's interior or exterior. 511 uses great material and workmanship (have several of their packs), but dang it, they just don't seem to have any brains for designing so as to make their stuff universally usable, like make it so that users and set the interior up the way they want it, individually. Like on the double bag: make it another 1-1/2 inch deep; make it tall enought to for sure hold an AR with a tall-mounted scope; simply cover both interior walls with molle, and provide several velcro straps, and sell extra velcro straps separately.. That velcro on the outside is no good for anything except collecting dirt and debris. Another thing is, listen to your customers. We tell 511 these things, and they just ignore us.
@@fog8969 I just pulled it out to double check, and yes, it opens up and lies flat when fully open.
