ElDorados are very popular in Los Angeles, especially in LA Metro's fleet! In fact, there are about 557 ElDorado Axess BRT buses, which are being operated on almost 3/4 of the routes in the entire system network!
Given the fact that they are CNGs, they do provide reliable service in every corner of Los Angeles! These buses sound very great with their Cummins Westport L9N engines and Voith D864.6 4 speed transmission, which reminds me about SamTrans in the Bay Area!

Most of the ElDorados' interior LED signs are very buggy. I guess you boarded a lucky bus.
As someone who takes Metro Local 18, I've seen text on LED signs displaying "PLEASE USETOPREQUESTED" and "tran."
