Remember Ferguson as a young player at Dundee United. He was a really good footballer. I felt he ended up being an almost pantomime villan. Great left foot. Really good with volleys. Brave and of course excellent in the air. Absolutely amazing at the timing of his runs into the box. Just about the worst penalty taker I ever saw at Tannadice......
My HERO big Dunc. Used to travel from Portsmouth to Goodison. I could never take my eyes off him. Sooooo underrated wth his FEET for a big man. Everton through and through. I hope he manages us some day

Everton fan here, Sam is spot on about Pickford the press and whoever always seem to target him no matter what, it’s embarrassing really as in the last few years he’s matured and become a proper leader and more consistent. The press or pundits really don’t seem to watch many games and proper analyse and aim for their simple targets.
Couple of years ago he was awful. Him and De Gea were making the most mistakes in the league.

Big Duncan still looks in shape he used to live in the same small place in Scotland as my uncle and he said a couple of the local hard men tried to make a name for themselves.. but big Duncan wasn't long with them and after that he was the top boy in the local pub.. this is before he moved to the EPL and he was fearless a young man but was a unit of a guy and took no shit he was a real hardman

it might have been brutal but i would of liked to have seen big Sam have a second season at Everton, i very much doubt Everton would be where they are now with his steady hand on the wheel at least till ancelotti i believe everton would have been solid with good foundations to build off of....Allardyce would of been a better fit than Benitez
