Juan is magnificent, isn’t he ? He performs beautifully in Max Cencic's version of Handel's Tamerlano. The aria 'Gelido in Ogni Vena’ is particularly moving. He has released several CDs under his own name too !

still trying to pick the best version here, this one would be close, though Nuria'a voice seems to get lost in the recording, mic problem I should think.

Rial is outstanding. The orchestra beautiful. Nice pace. Sancho sounds like he is singing Verdi, unfortunately.
Of course that is because he is singing Verdi's rendition of Handel's 'As Steals the Morn'.
VO - you should not have clipped the first 2 or 3 seconds in the beginning .... pity

Sorry. I am of another opinion. The singers sing too much apart from each other. And the orchestra sounds a bit like an echo. I dot think, this was planned by the composer Händel.
Dear Carsten, then you should check the rendition of 'Voices of Music'. Played on barok instruments and singers in their native language. To top it of, outstanding sound quality.
The Voices of Music version is top class with a great difference being the quality of the recording. It's probably unfair to compare the musicians because of that.
@@lindsayolh , I think the rendition of VOM is a level above because the artists try to come close to the way the piece was written, including the instruments. And they have the quality as artists to lay more soul in it than in this rendition.
Robbi, I think you are probably right. The blend VoM achieves is sublime. I'm just sad that this, reasonably acceptable, version is hampered by poorer recording. As you say, it's not in the same league but then few are.

Me gustan ambos cantantes, pero si vamos a lo esquisito, Nuria está en su sitio con su manera de cantar, demuestra un gran dominio del estilo barroco, Juan es más tenor de otro estilo..., la calidad de la grabación no es la mejor. En general, buen resultado.
Not bad but 1/ recording is bad 2/there are many many more duets which are better than this one 3/i also concur that there are making too much hands movements.
love this piece of music but hate their arm/hand gestures! takes away from the beauty...
