I really like the Blue sky concept of steel beams this house appears to be solid and virtually free of many weakness that plague other timber structures. I hope this concept catches on I want to build one of these new Blue Sky houses in a remote location totally off the grid with an advanced water treatment system.

I see your reply's 'contact us via email for info'' and I will at some point. Though I wonder if you can just list when the cost is for this square footage for materials and installation? Glad to see you are in CA!!! Everything I usually see and like to consider is outside Ca. I have rocky very small lot in Fresno Co. Want to put small residence. 32x32 or whatever lot will accommodate.

+Mehdi Satter Our innovative Blue Sky Framing system is exceedingly robust and individually designed for each site to meet or exceed the most stringent building and energy codes requirements. They are always custom designed to withstand the most extreme high wind, seismic forces and snow loads. The frame does NOT need to be exposed to the elements as shown in several of the photos of projects built in warmer climates.

I couldn't find an FAQ section on the website. With so much steel how does the insulation do? I'd be interested in knowing the R values. I see a ton of "send us an email and we will get you information" comments on here. An FAQ section could help solve that. I know many companies are withholding of prices and details up front in order to get people's information and have sales contact them. I really hope that practice ends.

Of course our unique framing system requires a foundation. But the beauty of the Blue Sky Building System is that its foundation requirements are dramatically less
evasive and typically much smaller than other styles of construction. This particular
project rests on six footings that are two feet square and about 24” deep. If

You do realize that if one of your workers suffered a head injury or death you would get a massive fine from OSHA and you would lose a lot of money in a civil suit from the injured/dead worker. Even if that is a subcontractor you will still be exposed to OSHA fines and a lawsuit. Forget the fines and lawsuit.....you should care about the safety of anyone on your jobsite.
