After a few decades of hell (drug abuse, alcoholism, addiction, mental health problems, broken relationships...) and the shame and sorrow that was left from all of that, I started to realize that I can't change or fix the past. It's always going to be there, and if I let it own me I'll never be free. So I learned to let go of the hurt and shame and sorrow and all the terribly painful memories. Of course they are still there but I don't give them any power anymore. And I've learned to be very thankful for all the blessings and good things that have come my way and continue to come my way. I focus as much as I can on all that. And there's plenty to be thankful for. Once I started to let go of the hurt there was so much more room in me for the happy. God bless you Jaylena, I hope you find lots of happy in your life from here on in. Good luck with your writing and with the beginning of a long happy life.

@@brendafainsbert4236 yes, God did give each of us individuals skills in order to HELP/SERVE others. But had God not given people these different skills, we would not be able to help each other. No matter how you look at things, God gave us the knowledge and skills to help provide for others. Hence, only God can help us. God is the one who wakes us up after sleep. God is the one who gives us our next breath. God is the one who gave us that job, and through that job, our home, cars, food, etc. Without God’s help, we would cease to live. We can’t breathe on our own and we don’t wake ourselves up after sleep, God even knows the number of hair each one of us have on our head. So, regardless of how anyone looks at a situation or every day life, God is the one who helps us and provides for us. But we must pray and ask God to show us the way. He has put someone in this world who He equipped to help us, but we must listen to Him so He can lead us to that person. God takes care of us all whether you believe it or not. But you believe what you will. God loves you. Jesus loves you and died for you. God bless you always.

Jaylena, back in 1971 a man wrote a poem about Vincent Van Gogh that tells the story of a traveling artist trying to find the right path in life and the struggles he had along the way and how to explain those struggles to people he met along the way, some got him but most didn't. Van Gogh used his paintings to convey his troubles and to be understood, Although unappreciated in his era, his art is now cherished and esteemed by many who recognize the difficulties he faced. Much like Van Gogh, you are today's traveling artist, first sharing your story and your soul to the world on CZcams and now sharing your heart in prose for all to read, by the way, that poet's name was Don Mclean, and the poem is called Vincent, it was turned into a song and was on the album American Pie that sold over 2 million one hundred and fourteen thousand copies. I hope your book has the same success, give the song a listen I think you'll see the message

From experience and being 57 yrs old. I have been exactly where you are. I truly believe it hereditary. Depression is a life long challenge, its just how you are able to handle it. Also, when you have a child and a mate, you can never truly be you 100% because as a mother and a spouse, you will give a small part if that up because you are a caring loving person. Its just the way it is. You give up a lot for your child and you will loose yourself some until they are grown. When they grow up and leave, have you heard a mother say,,,its like your heart has been removed from your body and out there in the world becoming their own person. I raised a daughter who is one of the best humans I know and at 27 she is her own person, but she will always have a part of me with her and its a void. But I am also so happy and proud. Thank you for sharing this with us as it may help someone or it can be very relatable to some. Love ya girl and you are a great mother and good human. ❤️🦋❤️🦋❤️🦋❤️

Bands, husband divorce, van, taking the bus to Oregon, getting pregnant...and all her plans changed on living a nomad life. Single vagabonds...carefree...is much tougher with a child. She can never go back to what she had planned but she hasn't realized it and it's always about generating income. The channel, the crime podcasts the mom channel and hawking products which are donated to the creator, then are sold to make money, the merch channel...this is their lively hood and proclaiming transparency is the buzzword heard often. Keep those likes coming and slitting from Issac was a delicate maneuver in explaining so as to not loose any viewers. They both are hard workers and it looks as though isaac might not have been the one to initiate this breakup. Playing along...don't loose any of their viewers which would be devastating to their income.
Sounds like you have had a very much needed family time! Sometimes we find ourselves on the other side of heartache and hardship before we can really begin to heal emotionally, physically and or spiritually so having said that l sense you are definitely at the beginning of a new season in life!! That is so exciting just try and keep very focused because life has a way of pulling us back when we have made a conscious decision to go forward. I know Precious little Ember will be ready to see Dad and He ready to see you guys. Keep on with your writing life has a way of those times of shifting so praying for your continued recovery and much success with your books! 😎❤️

Absolutely!!! And, for future reference: if you're worried about a spider bite or a wound maybe being infected, draw around it with a Sharpie stopping where the redness stops ... if the redness goes beyond the Sharpie "circle" in a day or two, get to the doctor ASAP. That's basically what they will do at Urgent Care.

A physical book would be the best for me personally. When I'm overwhelmed with sadness and need to be alone, this would be a great time to reflect and read some of your poems. It helps to know that your not alone with the darkness that overcomes at times.

Hello gorgeous. You look absolutely Radiant, and Renew, your skin looks fantastic, if I didn't know better, I would think you're 20 years old. Great Genes lady, what's your secret? Do you have a facial routine? Please share. No, Jaylena, I didn't know, you were a writer, but now, I understand, how you can speak so beautiful, stating what you need to, in such a caring, and sensible manner. Jaylena, you should write to different companies, and be the voice for their advertisement, or commercials, as long as it's something that doesn't go against your principles. You truly have an incredible voice, and persona. It would be, a great source of income for you, should you choose to consider it. Yes, Jaylena, I would absolutely buy your book. I myself love a physical book, however I believe you should do both simultaneously, because at least eighty percent, of people today, prefer everything to be digital, so you would be cutting yourself short. Also don't limit your revenues, if you have the opportunity to do both, simultaneously. I know someone, who choose to do, only a physical book, even though she had the opportunity to do both. A short time after her physical book, was published, somebody else, did the digital copy. She couldn't probe, that they stole, her story, but it was clear they did; that person made five times the amount that she did, with the digital copy, because it could reach billions of people around the world instantly, and there was nothing she could. All they have to do, is change a little bit of this and that, and say it's not the same book. So please, be very careful, and Never allow anyone to profit, for something you work so hard. Jaylena, I have people very dear to my heart, that suffer from depression, and through poetry and writing, they're able to express, their deepest pain, and thoughts, and as I read it, I'm then able, to understand, and help them better. And yes, like you, they stated that's very private and personal, and they don't wish to cheer it, with anyone else, although I constantly encourage it, because not everyone, can verbalize their feelings, and I know from working in psychiatric hospitals for years, the healing process of being in the right therapeutic environment, and not internalizing, and isolating the pain, an individual feels. You will definitely help, many other people heal through your book, and understand that they're not alone, and that it's perfectly fine, to seek help, and therapy, and to continue to seek the help they need, whenever necessary. As a society, we need to talk more about mental health, and do more, offer more services. It's so heartbreaking to me, that in so many cities, across the country when a patient calls the 24 hour hotline, they have to wait between two weeks to three months to get an intake. We lose so many lives, because of this lack of available therapists. So please check in, on anyone you know it's suffering from depression, sometimes just knowing someone cares, can change their lives. Jaylena, Thank You for choosing to talk about depression, I know it's not easy, but you're a voice for so many, that are hurting, from this disease. I do believe there is some personal , information, that is best that it remains private. Don't give anyone information, that will harm you, or someone you love. There are opportunistic sick people that will use some of the personal information you share to do horrible harm, so please be very selective, with what you share. You're, such a positive, empowering woman, mother, sister, aunt, friend, and Mentor to so many people around the world. You choose, to remain loyal to your beliefs, your feelings, your family, but what I admire, in you the most it's your commitment to your baby, and her well being, as well as your own, your willingness to thrive, under any circumstances, and to continue to teach for success, peace, comfort, and gratitude, to be the very best that you can be, every day. I admire you, and respect you immensely. Please continue to be a great mentor, for all the young ladies, that need to know they can to, achieve their goals and dreams, and that as long as they stay on course, and continue to work towards bettering themselves, anything is possible.

With my back and knees, I need a recliner chair just like that. 52yrs. And feeling it, more and more everyday.
Do you maybe have autoimmune arthritis ? I started having symptoms in my late 30’s. By 47 I was unable to drive or work. It was too painful to press the accelerator. Joint damage in my ankles. And my spine has so much damage I could not do my job. As I was required to lean over patients most of the day working in dentistry. It turns out I have psoriatic arthritis. Very different from just your standard arthritis we all get with age. It’s a blood disease. my mom who has RA rheumatoid arthritis says it should not be called arthritis. It’s confusing. Because the 2 are very different. I’m 60 years old now. I’ve been home unable to work for the last 13 years. I’ve learned a lot about arthritis. Tried multiple medications. Several of the biological drugs. It’s important to get the right diagnosis. Because the biological drugs really help autoimmune arthritis. And other things too. Like I have a spinal cord stimulator. It’s an implant that helps with the pain signal as it leaves your brain and travels down the spine. I’m really glad I decided to do that. It’s something you need to prepare for mentally. The idea of an implant in the spinal can be scary. But it’s helps with pain relief so much that I would definitely choose it again an again. If it’s just some early signs of general arthritis I have something that works well. You can get on eBay. It’s Amish pain cream. Comes in a blue w/ yellow outline container. I think 3.5 ounces. Look for ( Amish Origins) deep penetrating ointment. I discovered it at a local Amish store. And when I was not up to driving to the store to get more I found it on eBay. Make sure it’s the ointment. And rub it on then repeat a couple more times. Each time you apply it gets deeper into the skin and you will get relief. It’s saved me so many time. Like at night when I couldn’t sleep from the pain being too much. I rub it into my neck and keep applying till I’m comfortable. I’ve tried many things for pain relief. The Amish sure knew what they were doing with this one. Hope you get relief. And definitely look into the type of arthritis you have. Early treatment is key to holding it off as long as possible.

Your poem was so lovely. As a fellow author I would advise you to 1. Be careful with a large publisher. Even with your following you might make more from self publishing using good publishing services. 2. Publish an ebook and then make a softcover and then hardcover available. 3. Then work on the audio book. In your own voice are the best ones when sharing things from your heart and soul. For example Michele Obama’s first book. So happy for you. I am an audiobook reader. Down the road I see you making children’s books. Your life as a nomad and having a miracle child could make for some very magical stories. Be blessed and stay well. Take this for what you may, from 64yr female... Divorced for over 20 yrs... Traumatic childhood. Do the work or you will repeat the painful things again and again. When we raise our children the issues come up at the ages we went thru them.
I'm so proud of you for releasing your book. You never know what might come of it. Just writing things down helps more than you know. Of course I'm old school.... I prefer an actual book.

Honey, I definitely understand all about depression. I have been going through mine now I guess for about two years. I am finally going through a bedroom where I used to spend a lot of time studying didn’t realize it till tonight how I’ve just been an empty shell for the past two years and I’m just now picking up the pieces. I’m happy for you that you are doing what you’ve been wanting to do for a long time and now you being courageous and stepping forth and doing it. Im so happy you are going after your dream! What you are going through is called life! There are different seasons in that life that knock you down. I was the same way in my younger years, and was never totally happy until this season of my life and also had dreams of doing some type of music. Im not there yet with the music but im still trying and Im 74 this year and still reaching for my dream! I think your books will be a hit! I've also loved poems and they are like songs to me. Few live a fairytale life and most have trouble expressing their feelings or even dealing with them. Writing is a gift, and I am sure it is cathartic. Learning to deal with your own emotional baggage and raising a healthy well-rounded daughter will take priority. May you find the strength to overcome the challenges and find happiness.

I was in 2 marriages, both had domestic violence and addiction. My 2nd husband passed away in 2013. I'm 60 now, I've been told to write a book also. I'd prefer a paper back book so I can take it with me.

YES I want to read. I prefer hard copy because I want to mark it up with my notes. Even stapled together pages does it for me! I'll pay whatever the cost!

And true. It took me years to get any kind of spark back in myself after my divorce. I had went through so much abuse that by the time i left i was just a shell. With 2 kids. But a few years ago after a another horrible relationship it was like a switch in me flipped and i slowly started to feel a bit better. Now i also have learned that i am adhd on top of complex ptsd. Its daily but i get better each day

so true....There are more resources available today for postpartum depression, but it still is not talked about enough. Jaylena, will help alot of young women by sharing her story.
If you do it, go all the way. Printed, digital, audio - all of it, make it available for everyone no matter their preferred form of books. I pray this helps you find your way.

Jaylena your poem was beautiful. Coming from a person who loves to read my personal feeling regarding a physical or digital copy of a book is that they are equally important. I love the physical copy because I'm a tactile learner. That being said digital is also important with people who have limited space to store physical copies of books, and it does make it easier to carry around. That is why I use both formats.

I wouldn’t compare mine with those who have chronic depression. My first encounter came from losing myself completely in my marriage. Then postpartum depression. Both of which I no longer battle. But it will help to understand someone in that state of mind ❤️
