Thank god finally someone talking about a walk behind.
36" hydro walk behind is a must have imo. Probably the most versatile mower ever made. You can squeeze it in small back yards, take it on hills, or do a field if you have to.
Very correct. I own a 36 turf tracer and it's awesome. I wish I had a 52 zero turn for the bigger areas though, it definitely takes longer to mow the bigger areas with the 36. It gets it done though nonetheless
I just say I bought a 36 proline this spring and it is the best designed mower I have ever ran. The controls allow you to stop and turn on a dime! And the cut quality is as good as any other brand!
I preordered already, Iâll be using it for backyard and incline yards.
*UPDATE* from Toro- they are working on different weights for front so it doesn't pop up so much and they've readjusted the sulky a little, so it doesn't catch as much when spinning around underneath. đ
I have 8 hours on my 48" Proline HDX and am loving the efficiency increase. The only thing I'm hating right now is NO STRIPES. Yards are pretty crispy right now with the summer heat/drought but my Exmark 30 still leaves a stripe. This HDX doesnt... does your stripe well? Did you adjust your deck pitch?
@@Lasarius2010 this was a demo and it striped just like my Grandstand. I don't know if they adjusted anything. I know there's something to the pitch for decks to stripe properly but mine always came a striping machine.
I want this mower
Nice looking mower. I currently use an older 33 in cub cadet small gates back yards. Don't have enough mowing that type to justify anything nicer yet. Great video.đđ
Iâm definitely considering a 48 or 54 as my next machine. Demoed a wright I last week and didnât like how it performed on the smallest slopes. But love how productive my 36â t bar is. And how versatile it is.

looks like a nice mower. I use Toro grandstands and they work great for my area. I would not have a use for a walk behind so the standers are the way to go for me.

My setup. 60 ztr 60 walk behind 36 stander. I have 0 complaints about the versatility of this setup
Why 60 walk behind and 36 stander and not vice versa?
LCR a wider wheel base walk behind is perfect for mowing around steep hills and ponds. I see a small stander mower good for knocking out small gated back yards where I can use the faster ground speed to finish faster.

Nice machine. Spoke with my dealer about it yesterday. Just a heads up, your hands are in the way of camera a lot, and the part at the end could barely see the mower behind you. Would like greater visibility of the topic if you could consider for future reference. Otherwise thanks for showing and enjoyed hearing your thoughts.

I like the havenhurst sulky a lot better. The wheels swivel so you do not need to get off the sulky while backing up .
I bought this same mower before the season started. Iâm looking for a two wheel sulkie/velkie whatever you want to call it. Definitely some options out there. Any recommendations on here based on experience which one to buy? And why

toro is just an exmark remanufactured product, and they found a way to make it more complicated. Way to go toro! I do like the deck height adjustment though. Good luck with your new machine.
All 36 walk behind pop up while mowing. I bought a hustler trim star 36 back about 8 years ago and freaking hated it and sold it immediately. They all need weighted down in the front and the manufacturer should realize this.

Supposed to be behind on production because of the flu. No sulky for me. It does have a key start right? The description says recoil start. Looking forward to adding this to the arsenal.

Did you try putting the mower sideways in your trailer? I have a 7x16 enclosed and was curious if it'll fit sideways.
@@aaronschramm5091 I tried, it doesn't, it's too long... Grandstands and stand on aerator can because they're more compact.

Mowed a couple yards. A bit jerky at first but just takes a few minutes to get the feel. It's long that's for sure. Overall I think a decent machine.
Still cheaper than a stand on but I can always load it up on pickup. Any chance the weight diff btw the 36â stand on?

How do you find the deck on the new Proline compares to the Turbo Force decks?
It cuts just as good in my opinion. The turbo force deck was just a little too heavy duty for a walk behind. I'll go into more detail with this in an upcoming video with the new 48 Proline that I got. đ

Not sure how the 36 would be on really steep hills just because of the rear tire wheel base isnât as wide as a 48 and the 36 walk behind shave skinnier tires. Definitely safer for hills but with the skinnier wheels and not as wide of a wheel base on the rear tires
Yeah, that's what I was saying in the video. The 36 walk behind is better than small stander but still not the best on hills. It's more just for backyards for my business.
LCR oh yes for sure especially now you have the ramp rack 36 hydro walk behind and your grandstand amazing combo
The problem is the handles and the hydros sit very low. No one showing holding wheelies with these on here. Most guys don't use shoot blockers. You might need to wheelie it to avoid blowing grass onto something. Or you'd need to wheelie it to get off something like a small tree root or stump. I'm going to buy one - I'll post some vids on using it on rougher yards to test the handles. If these had the Exmark handles it would be a winner and larger rear tires.
If you were just starting your business would you go with the Toro Proline 36 or the Grandstand 36 ?

How does this deck cut compared to the turbo force decks?
It's barely noticeable under normal everyday well maintained lawns.
