I am lucky enough to say I was there that day, Kelly was on fire, the floater he did over that section was epic, long, sweeping cutbacks and riding waves for at least 80-100 yds.
he was my hero when I was a teenager and used to do surfing every weekend. we both are regular.

PLease show a bit more videos. During the world junior amateur contest in Japan, Kelly won one of the event in Miyazaki doing reverse layback reentries that looked so compressed he could fit inside a mini tube... I have never seem him doing that outside of this contest, even though I'm sure it was a standard move for him in tiny floridian shorebreaks.
