Notice that Paz saved Din and Grogu and now Din returned the favor. Paz is probably totally cool with Bo and Din now. Bo has really become Grogu's space mom in a way too giving him the mom talk. "You know, your dad is really proud of you".
I was SO thrilled to see Ahmed Best as a bad-ass Jedi, after all the YEARS he got crap for playing Jar Jar.
Who would have guessed that Sith Lord Jar Jar saved Grogu?

Kelleren Beq comes from a game show. Played by Ahmed Best. He is known as Kelleren Beq "Saber hand" Known for his duel saber technique in some lore. The other Jedi probably knew that he was the best choice to protect Grogu should this situation come forward.

I think the Armorer knows about the mythosaur and has been back to Mandalore . If you go back and watch when she forges something, she always pours a vial of the living waters into her cooling water. I think she is waiting for the one who will finally reunite her people.
I think she’s FEEDING people to the Mythosaur.
To be honest, I think The Armorer knows the Mythosaur is in the Living Waters and is *wink wink, nod nodding* Bo Katan. The few times she has poured water into her quench for crafting armor it did the mystical glow of the Living Waters and was the confirmation Din and Bo had bathed in it. It stands to reason, she's visited the ravaged Mandalore, went to the mines and also bathed/saw the Mythosaur and has kept this secret.
Yes, you're the only other person I've seen bring up the Armorer's apparent supply of Living Water. Even before the fall of Mandalore, while they were living on the moon. It's interesting.

It wasn’t lost on me that Grogu and Ahmed Best’s character (Kelleran Beq) wouldn’t have escaped if not for the help of *Naboo* soldiers 😭🥹
If you didn't notice. The actor plaing the Jedi that saved Grogu, Also played Jar Jar Binks.
So happy for Ahmed Best but sad for Kelleran Beq cause he must have been killed. I hope we eventually get to see what happened after he rescued Grogu from the Temple.

2. There was at least 10 ‘dudes’ when the final action sequence started. You know that’s when it’s really good 😂
3. More Armorer and Grogu interaction please. She has been so accepting of him from the start, and she doesn’t treat him lightly. I love it when she tells him to come and he follows like ‘Yes Auntie’.
For whatever reason, from the beginning of the show I've been suspicious of the Armorer. I always suspect ulterior motives but she hasn't revealed any yet. (I'm fine with her recognizing Grogu could be incredibly powerful for their clan and wanting him on their side.) Maybe it's just 'cause of people thinking she could be a certain Clone Wars character. But she might just prove me wrong and be a good religious leader!

The planet's native wildlife seems to make it an odd choice, but as the Armorer said in S1, being a Mandalorian is to be both hunter and prey. No question of them forgetting that while living there!

Since the forging of metal involves a repetitive visual and auditory process this could facilitate a meditative state.

If the Mythosaur ends up being real, it’s big enough for Bo,Din and Grogu to all ride it at the same time uniting the past, present and future Of Mandolore. If there is a legend that Mandolore rises again and it involves a live Mythosaur, then that could be a way to unite the Mandolorians and help them to evolve in a way that incorporates the disparate elements of their culture.

I kinda got the vibe that the Armorer already knows there's a mythosaur in the Living Waters. She has to have been there in the past because she keeps a small amount of the Waters with her for forging, so maybe she's seen it herself before and that could be why she's so matter-of-fact about it when Bo mentions it. OR she saw it and thought it was just a vision, and she thinks Bo had the same thing. Just a thought.
14:30- Well to be fair, Bo-Katan Kryze doesn't have any evidence to prove the Mythosaur is real since apparently their helmets don't take pictures or record what they've seen, not like Din Djarin bringing back samples of the Living Waters to prove that Mandalore's curse is false. And unfortunately Din didn't see the Mythosaur since he practically sank like a stone and was unconscious at the time, but more than likely Grogu, despite having been sitting outside, would've sensed something in the water but he can't communicate that since he cannot speak properly at the moment.
Grogu chilling with all those crabs made me think they're emphasizing his ability to connect with other creatures through the Force. Maybe he even sensed something from the purgill.
Birds will regurgitate food, after they have caught prey and return to the nest, not 24 hours later!! This jarred a bit as the duration of the rescue was too long for the boy to have survived. But, at least the story line created respect between Din and Paz and Bo with all the Mandolorians, including the armourer. Grogu's flash back was great, although troopers practically landed on top of the Naboo ship and still couldn't hit anything with their blasters!!! Good job the Bad Batch learned how to shoot!!!👍👍

I don’t think the other Mandalorians were following Bo Katan because they thought she was such a leader or anything. I think she went after they foundling and returned with info on how to retrieve him, so they elected her as the leader for this mission. But a successful campaign obviously boosts her place within the ranks
Epic moment....you have a kid sitting on the dinner plate in a pterodactyl nest and Bo says "we'll get going in the morning" and they proceed to disburse to eat their dinners separately. What a leisurely rescue, do they have time for a quick trip to the DaySpa before they rescue this Kid?

On a planet like the one where the covert is based, it seems like it would be smarter for the Mandalorians to go off in pairs to eat, and sit back to back. They could then be watching for danger but still unable to see the face of the person behind them.

I think the Mythosaur is real (in the series). The Armorer knows more than Bo about it but stays vague.
First of off, think about it, the Armorer is a Shuman and an Ironsmith, roles almost exclusive to men but the three Amigos (George, Jon and Dave) have made her organic without the Mary Sue treatment of the wokeness by Disney we have seen in the sequels and other IPs like Marvel. Not only is she a strong female character like others that the three Amigos have done (Padme, Leah, Fennec, Omega and other females) are important to the thematic story telling. IMO the Armorer and Paz have said "this is the way" a few times and Ragnor is their son. What ever you want to say about this tribe or cult honor is one of the highest respects they have and Bo and Din kicking in to help has solidified them into acceptance by all, "this is the way".

Every bit of lore and back story they give us just prompts 50 more questions in my brain. Love it!
As you say, Bo-Katan's character is evolving - abandoned by her people, and her home destroyed. Now among these people she has held in contempt she is finding a new path that calls for leadership. Fascinating! And finally we see how Grogu escaped the Order 66 slaughter. In addition, Ahmed Best returns after his turn as Jar Jar Binks. Will we find out where he went after the escape from the Temple?
Probably Naboo, or to someone who is from Naboo based on the ship they’re using.

That scene with the sun and Bo-Katans ship was not a top gun reference that was an Apocalypse Now reference if anything
I think Bo flying into the sun after the dragon is more a reference to the TIEs in The Force Awakens than Top Gun. Also the speeder chase when it dives vertically is a reference to Anakin doing the same move in EP II. 🤷🏻

I'm sorry, you two, but no, you're wrong about the Mythosaur being called into question for us, strictly because of the camera perspectives of the Mythosaur... We didn't see the Mythosaur strictly from Bo-Katan's perspective, but in 3rd person, seeing both her and the Mythosaur from an outside angle, which suggests objectivity as opposed to someone's 1st-person subjectivity.
No, there is no doubt that the Mythosaur is 100% real.

And I'm with Jennie/Jenny (sp?) I ADORE the Armorer. I hope nothing happens to her, or I'll be heartbroken. And I loved how the scenes of her forging Grogu's rondelle mirrored her scenes with Din from S1 Ep1. If you recall, he also had some PTSD flashbacks as she made Mando a new shoulder plate. And later in S1when she made his current suit. And the content of their flashbacks was the same. Their protectors (Din's parents) and in this case (Grogu's Jedi teacher/masters) trying to save them. Again showing parallels between Din's childhood and Grogu's current path.
I've said before I've had my issues with Bo-Katan. I haven't trusted her since S2 and didn't like the way she's manipulated Din in the past. But this is what I wanted to see from her...earning the title of a leader rather than expecting it because of her bloodline.
Finally....bringing back the 3 orphaned bird creatures? I guess these Mandalorians take finding and taking care of foundlings to a whole other level, huh?
They have to have a dangerous home....They are Mandalorians. If something or someone doesn't threaten their existence they will grow soft. xD

Indeed she did. Coincidence. Last year was surgery, this year was injury.
If they didn't have the foundlings with them they wouldn't be training them right. I believe the age of training, meaning taking them on missions and the like, is 8. So to follow The Way they have to be trained in dangerous enviroments.

Its possible that Grogu was controlling the crabs and not trying to move stones.
I think the crabs were drawn to Grogu thru the force but not something Grogu is doing intentionally.

My thoughts on the episode ...
1. More of Grogu's backstory was good to see. Just goes to show the kid went through a hell of a lot of trauma. And we know it only got worse. And I would argue it explained how he was captured but not killed in the initial purge.
2. The episode felt like The Book of Bo Kotan. It is more of her story than Mando's.
3. I really think this season is setting a stage for Ahsoka. I do think by season's end we will see where the Mandolorians are going with reclaiming their home world and what the beginnings of the First Order. Although at this stage, they are just remnants of the Impiral Navy.
Overall, I'll give it a 7 out of 10. Episode 3, a 3 out of 10. The whole scene with Pershing simply was way too much filler.
*YAWN* Oh, filler complaints again.
