The Super 90 wasn't mad years ago, it was straight up broken. The damage calc for the pellets was bugged so that a single pellet hitting would do the same damage as all of them, basically. You could snipe with it. It was hilarious.

8:35 you can place two sideways, just need to put one more to left and another more to right, so when attacker vaults through the window, if he even break one, another will just catch him with its corner. At least I saw that on yt, i tried it and it is easy to place them like that.
There was this one time i put the frost mat at 16:40 on top of a set of barbed wire(placed by ela on the team) and got an instant kill plus a barbed wire bonus of 10 points. Wasn't sure exactly what happened because I didn't have match replay on and couldn't find anything online. Is that an actual combo or did something else happen?
Another good tip is to place them not directly infront of windows but in a way that only half of the trap is below it, so it still triggers when somebody jumps in.
Another top video highlighting the type of positions preferable such as on stairs or strafe corners rather than obvious places like behind shields and under common windows
I think Alyttleton trapped my subscription for a long time with this video... The extended barrel on Frost SMG is super great. I have been using that for seasons. It makes Frost gun feel like Laser gun lol. Also, can we talk about how lovely-looking her elite trap looks ? but the elite version is super obvious to eyes lol. no more hidden trap arts.
Another tip for placement of the mat is placing the deployable shield in a door, then placing the mat behind it. So, if an attacker vaults over the shield they'll be caught in the trap.
Thoughts: You didn't mention that you can die instantly in a frost mat if a Lesion puts a Gu on it. Also, the first example of a frost mat on the stairs is bad because you can safely shoot it from 3 windows - also, no one pushes up those stairs as it is a disadvantage - they push from the windows.

This doesn't work as well now that y8s3 is out because Ram's BU-GI can destroy deployable shields
