Cillian and his family came to ride the Maid of the Mist a few years ago and I had the pleasure in escorting them through the facility. They are very humble people. He told a few jokes in the elevator down to the vessel. Very polite people. Great guy!

I watched the series of Peaky Blinders and was mesmerized…..I’m not a movie goer and now quite elderly. I would love to have access to watch every thing he’s done. Masterful and his eyes are a real draw‼️
There's a huge difference between Colin Farrell and Cillian. Colin was a bad boy not saying he wasn't a good actor He just caused too much trouble.. Cillian is way more advanced in so many ways In all his endeavors in the business..

there are so many actors who say they don't want the fame... but i don't buy it. they act contradictory. however, with Cillian it is obviously true. He just doesn't act for the fame. there is no fluff with him. He feels so real. he just shows up and deliver great performances. but knowing someone is a good person in real life, while maybe it shouldn't matter, it does to me. liking an actor and seeing their work, it matters greatly to me how they are off screen. hearing how a lot of male actors go "method" just to be trash on set, and bully others and send them rats and yell in their face etc... - it takes my love of their movies away. Cillian is a quality guy. i love that he has been married for almost 20 years. that's great. i love he lives in ireland and doesn't like the hollywood scene. doesn't even like social media. it's just so nice. and also kinda works to his careers favor weather he likes it or not 😄 bc the mystery of actors are just gone today.. but someone like him - he still leaves you wondering. intrigues you.

It is so important to expose all children to all aspects of the arts. Acting, music, dance, painting, pottery, it gives them an outlet for their energy and being.
I think he stayed humble because of his upbringing, and he seems like a introvert at heart so I’d doubt he was ever interested in the big and loud Hollywood parties and night clubs. Personally I would be the same if I was famous, being around too many people would drive insane. I’ll take my small group of friends and family over all the money in the world.

This video is quite well made! As a long time fan of Murphy though I have to point out that on two instances in the personal life section, two different photos of his women co stars from Anthropoid and Aloft were wrongly included when referring to his wife Yvonne. Also in the play Hamnet the photos included in the video weren't of his son Aran but of the other young actor who would act on alternate nights! It's important to get things like that right when making such a video I think! Overall good work though!

I'm a bit odd in that I very rarely care to invest my time nor energy into keeping up with the world. I rarely watch movies bc it feels redundant... sex, violence, drugs, cars, political agenda... etc etc etc. It underwhelms me. It feels like there is no real thought to express humanity in any of its forms. Everything just started to seem cliché.
When I watched "Peacock", I felt like I came away as a better person somehow. It softened me inside in a way that I can't define. It was moving.
I thought to myself "that should be the goal of the entertainment industry".
Sometimes younger cilian reminded me of Jim parsons, esp when he said "the batman"
