This problem is not between the typial Ugandan and typical Rwandan. Its between Museveni's government and Rwanda's enemies. Like PK said, he wants no trouble, but what can he do when his countrymen are taken prisoner in a "friendly" country. I hope Museveni cleans up and there is no need for conflict.

Africa come together and feel brotherhood
am Tanzanian and i love both country (Rwanda and Uganda) in living and dying
as president kagame speaking, behind him (his right side) on the stage i saw east africa' flag.
that flag is nothing but just a symbol of brotherhood and familyhood of east africans. so its shame for east africans to pose on challenging each other. as east african i suggest leaders of both country Rwanda and Uganda meet and before start speaking they should look on east africa's Flag and feel brotherhood and familyhood and hence resolve issues parmanently.
Africa we need to move together. we Tanzanians now atleast we can see the direction of our country moving on good direction, so we need fellow Africans end disputes and join us on movement FOR THE FUTURE GREAT AFRICA..........
believe me MY AFRICA WILL GET RELIEF SOON

Uganda has been and will always be hospitable to many people from all over east Africa n beyond...Many rwandese hv lived here...actually scattered all over uganda living peacefully. Sudanese, congolese, burundians, eritereans, Ethiopians and so many. This is the most hospitable country in Africa and this atmosphere is attributed to good leadership of Yoweri museveni. Otherwise, he could also choose to close all borders to all refugees. I think this is a political game kagame is playing.

    Mr. President
There are so many rwandans here in Uganda and they are living in a happily life. We love rwandans cause we share very many things in common.
    Make research!
The government of Uganda has to deal with any local criminals as long as they are living in Uganda. There must be a reason why those people were being deported or jailed. Mbu ebango baliwanika.
Rwandans they are the same people who move at night, they work at night, but the government of Uganda its there to protect them along the street. What you don't know is that, the ugandan government protects/cares about foreigners more than citizens.
More are going to be deported as long as they are caught doing acts of breaking law. Teach your people

I fully agree and wholeheartedly hope this situation should be handled diplomatically with a clear understanding of the Rwandan authorities concerns. There are more at stake here especially for the whole regional integration process. This situation should be brought out to the African Union agenda and let the organism in charge I believe the Africa Union Peace and Security branch to mediate and find a suitable agreement to both parties. African Union takes your responsibility and solve issues among Africans before things get out of hands. Peace is overdue among all Africans and for the sake of all Africans this situation calls for AU mediation. Love to Africa

Though President Kagame sounds so genuine, I would wish that his audience was EAC people in a place like Arusha Tz and Not Rwandese. I believe that EAC citizenry and Africa at Large want their countries speaking in one voice. You leader's need to change the way you handle leadership issues. This can create more division between our countries. You People (leaders) speak in one voice! and be inclusive. Together you can even solve the issue of Burundi if you Leaders are selfless.

    (1) Kagame should create conditions in Rwanda that allow Rwandans to live happily, securely, ungagged and free in their country. That is the only way he will not have rebels in neighbouring countries.
    (2) Rebels are not created by their host counties (real or imagined). Rebels are a creation of the despotic behaviour of the regime in Kigali.
    (3) If Rwandans are being harassed in Uganda, why are they struggling to come to Uganda? Why should Rwandans want to flock to and stay in a country where they are harrassed? For those being “harassed”, there must be good reason. Being “legally” in Uganda does not place them above the law. There are more Rwandans in Uganda than the prisons can hold and the prisons are not full, therefore the arrests cannot be random! Why only "40" arrested out of the millions of Rwandans in Uganda? Who and What are these 40?
    (4) Why worry about Rwandans detained for long in Uganda, and ignore the many more similarly detained in Rwanda?
