These are the most hilarious fakes I’ve ever seen- The first dachshund you showed has the head of 1751 and the body of 518. These are really interesting fakes. If they aren’t head swaped, they’re falling apart... At the end of the day, you have many customizing bases! And remember, if the base looks too bad, make a zombie out of it. OR, sculpt till the base looks good. 💖

Yknow how there is the lps database with all the pets documented there? Is there a page there for pets that have been bootlegged? Some maybe when someone is unsure if their pet is a fake they can see if anyone else has reported that fakes of that pet are in circulation? Because there’s probably obscure pets or moulds that have never been reproduced I’d assume
I managed to get two authentic versions of the Siamese and I did paint on one but don’t worry, it’s for a series and I can sell it later in time if i dont want it anymore.

I have heard it called “sitting cat” and “gumdrop kitty/kitten/cat” due to its distinctive head shape- both of which more accurately describe the mold. Lpsmerch lists the versions of the mold as Kitten V2 (which has three variants) , the sitting version as Kitten V3, and the single standing version as Kitten V4. Doing the math, out of 50 versions of the mold (not including the three tigers), only 13 tabbies are actually present, or 26%. Even when counting only sitting cats (the only version of this mold with tabby markings), 13 out of 46 cats only results in 28.26% of “tabby” molds actually being tabbies. Tldr: naming a mold after a marking present in less than a third of its variants rather than after its shape doesn’t make sense.

I got an authentic dachshund 932 not too long ago and I managed to snag her for 10% off the original price she does have a chipped foot at the back but no one can really see it it’s because she’s old and the last owner probably handled her a lot but I hope you get her one day
