@@MiguelGarcia-mm8kd I KNOW. I don’t know shit about guitar but it’s the guitar riffs that enticed me. They’re like almost metal riffs but they’re so groovy.
Saw them a loooooong time ago with TUI, BackTrack, Fire & Ice... and once a couple years back when the newest album dropped. Suuuuuuuch a good live band.
"Yeah, it's always really cool..as someone that makes music to be able to make new music and to be able to play it and stuff, so..we put it out, and um, eyuh.. February.." -Brendan. 🙂 (I LOVE TURNSTILE!)
Well for one, this could be the first time a lot of these people even heard them and 2nd, the stage and crowd are a mile away from each other. For the most part, they didn't seem all that shitty to me.
i saw them last year was so excited too just so bummed that i had a fractured ankle(injured beforehand had a cast) and couldnt stage dive or two step to them.
Awe mann that is such a bummer! I've been there with the ankle. Glad you still went! 😁 I just broke my finger stage diving at a Turnstile show in Europe. Wouldn't take it back that shit was too fun.
That, and the big split straight down the middle. Its like a performance at a concentration camp. I hate it. I suppose it saves the concert holders a lot of money in lawyer and court fees, but its still ass.
I've just discovered the band Turnstile and my mind is blown they remind me of a band from Columbus, Oh. Called Breath Of Sarin they to have a very heavy hardcore/crossover sound check them out!!!!!
The crowd at this festival in Columbus is more of the knuckle dragging mouth breathing "what's the cheapest beer y'all sell" type. They wouldn't know good music if it hit em in the head. That interview was painful, let Franz do it next time.
I'm sorry but the crowd surfing pissing me off. I want to see when people get into the music and are jumping up singing the lyrics. I'm all for getting hype and doing whatever you want. But, literally running onto the stage and then doing a flip or whatever and landing on peoples heads and requiring them to carry you is so annoying. Also the band has to watch out to dodge people to prevent people from running into them. Whenever theres an impactful part of the song and the singer is getting ready to delivery, instead of everyone getting really into it..the focus goes from that to having to dodge someone or carry someone over your head. Or pick someone up who is jumping ontop of them. I like everything but that, I think it kind of ruins the moment. Dance, jump, scream, but does anyone really want to deal with that at a show.
Man your out of your depth and a fucking baby, Turnstile is a Hardcore Band, have you ever watched a Hardcore show on here or been to a Hardcore show? That's the entire point of the show, people diving off the stage, moshing and even Brendan (Lead Singer) and Franz (Bass Player) going nuts on stage and diving too, like, everyone he crowd surfed on probably had they're entire Month made being able to hold up Brendan Yates himself, they know Hardcore and are There to see them don't speak for them when you don't understand it. If you wanna stand passively in a crowd and wave your hands around have fun with that but everyone else is here to let they're shit out and go nuts.
@@1983Corolla i think the crowd surfing made since in the 80s punk shows. But, now it seems more like a self centered moment. Everyones trying to have their epic moment elbowing someone in the head or stepping on someone. Rather than just getting into the music. Theres also plenty of times the lead singer had to move to the corner of the stage and/or dodge people instead of just delivering a performance. I’d rather see the band doing their thing than a bunch of people using the stage to jump on people forcing them to carry them.
I've watched a ton of turnstile performances and still have no idea what the singer looks like.
always a surprise

It is IMPOSSIBLE to stand still while listening to the intro of Generator
The organizers of the this put the audience so far away from the stage its ridiculous. Might as well make it a virtual concert.
@Drew Tourtelotte Pro tip, ignore spam bots
The problem i have with seeing shows from this genre at outdoor festivals. Give me a nice dingy bar.
I agree, but it doesn’t really matter if your moshing and stuff
Dude that lead singer has some stamina!
I want to see these guys live. Hopefully 2021
God me too!!!!!

Stumbled upon this is one of the greatest thing, thank you sooo much for uploading this, i've been listening to Turnstile live performances recently.
FZG welcome to it
Right side of the crowd was jamming unlike the left!
I LOVE TURNSTILE!
turnstile gets major props for working a festival atmosphere with a giant barricade and still making it about as personable as possible!!!
The very last young Rock Band on planet Earth 🌏
Loveee this band

@@youthofyesterdayrecords I'm pretty sure he's straight edge, so probably not stoned. I think he's just awkward.
