    Love this tutorial. I prefer the second way to perform this effect. Less steps. Can you show us how to do "popup texts"?

      You can do it but you have to turn the subtitles into graphic layers and then apply this effect.

    how do you get it to fade in like a wipe, but then all fade out at once (no wipe)

      Hi Wayward. So the easiest way to do the fade in with wipe is with the linear wipe and the fade out without wipe at once is just by reducing the opacity to 0.

      Hi Icechicken. So you mean that the you can't access the effects panel? Of that's the case go to Window in Premiere Pro and from there you will be able to access the effects panel.
