No he's not. He's the (pop)ular version of it. Go to Alemania to listen to real industrial music. If you like NIN, you won't like it. Go to Machinenfest or another festival in Germany. Your comment will remain a laughable misconception of industrial music, till then.

These drums aretotally removing the ethereal and dark atmosphere of the song. Trent is really quite amazing at simplicity and utilizing environment, this is totally ruining it. I hate to be a Debbie downer but this is awful. All they did was add some shit high hat drums.
No it's a combination of Zero Sum which also has a dark atmosphere. I do agree that it ruins the orchestral vibe and the emotional value.
