Looks like a good machine to send one guy in a week early for remote site prep. Level land out, install culverts, carry and spread gravel, then unload the delivery truck.
I designed a machine on paper like this but with a heavier high speed undercarriage as a kid. I brought up idea to Bobcat rep 15 years back and he laughed and said you need two machines.

I have an attachment for my mini that allows me to put skidsteer attachments on it. Not the same as what you showed in the video, but pretty close and very useful. Thanks for sharing Stanley!!
They make some very neat products, obviously not for everyone, but I think these really fit the bill for landscape work where lots of attachments or needs exist that can be fairly well accommodated with just the one machine. My buddy's place started to carry them and he sold a few right away.
I was actually thinking of buying one of these late last year. A little over my price point I ended up picking up a JD 331G. But I could also really use an excavator now. So I should have spent the money.
The interesting thing about Euro equipment is that its designed for a different space area. I was watching a video about a US designer in the UK & France sharing industry ideas. Space requirements for equipment in Europe is small compared to what we have in the US. Not better - just different. So their designs work differently and we think of them different but - we can benefit from those here. They cant necessarily from ours there. Always interesting to see how someone else does things.

I have a friend who runs a hard landscapping firm in the same type of jobs than you he got from 3 excavators and 4 skidsteers to a 30klb excavator (15 MWR) 3 MCR (2*8 and 1*10) and gets the same amount or more work done. He lays a lot of pavers, retaining walls and dig pools. Stan, another very interesting 5 ⭐ video, sidenote I have seen them before I believe it was 2020 equipment expo in Las Vegas , not in person but some of the other channels I frequently view, Mike Simmons aka Dirt Perfect, Chris at Letsdig18 oh yeah Logger Wade , dang trying to remember hmm it was the start of COVID so it was limited But I remember they demonstrated how they work, as far as the wheel loader it is amazing to see how flexible they are. Anywhoo you're amazing thanks for sharing God bless y'all from Gaffney South Carolina viewer 🙏❤️
=) Was hoping to see your face when you put that beast on Skidsteermode and go full speed! very nice engineering on those machines, would be fun to see some of the youtubers invest in this machine and make some content with it.
Nice idea.....but looks like it has a bit of a learning curve. It's hard to make one machine replace 2.... efficiently. And I agree....looks top heavy. Don't think I'll be replacing my JCB track loader and JD mini excavator with one any time soon 😆
Stan, from your enormous experiences in operating different equipment and construction, will you purchase one if you need to replace both a skid steer(loader) and a mini excavator?
I ran a mecalec 6mcr for a little over a year I absolutely loved the machine I named her mecala other than a couple little dinky electrical problems and 1 problem with the emissions system but other than that I absolutely loved the machine had loads of power and has ridiculous track speed
the main reason cat went to china was the EPA. the EPA wanted to restrict what they built in the usa for the export market it had to be the same emissions standards as the usa
I'm not sure I buy that. Im guessing it a whole lot cheaper there to build and if those EPA regs are the reason then the equipment still has to meet U.S standards once they are in the country. maybe I am wrong though. I can't confirm any of that- just my opinion.
Also, I wish you asked about the break out force, cos in a normal machine, the break out force is way stronger when your digging towards you, they don't have much strength when your trying to push away from you in a normal excavator! But seen as this is also a front loader, it'll need bugger break out for pushing away from you to scoop up material!
Definitely some cool features to this machine but to be honest with you I'm always skeptical of the all in one machines I'm sure it has a few downsides but it is a really neat concept I definitely like the way you can spin the cab of the machine without tearing everything up that is a huge advantage being able to swivel like that coming from someone that has a skid steer and mini excavator I'm somewhat skeptical to be honest the this machine can do everything as good as both those machines. my 2 cents

What a great combination
Great video glad to see one hope one day you can add to your arsenal of great equipment God bless and stay safe what's weather like rain here 2days straight
Rooting for it! Hope you get some sunshine soon too, it's just starting to poke out for us here up north..it rained for pretty much the entire month of April

Omg wow this is a cool machine, I always thought about a bucket on a excavator
That's cool you've checked it out already. Thanks for being here!!
=) Was hoping to see your face when you put that beast on Skidsteermode and go full speed! very nice engineering on those machines, would be fun to see some of the youtubers invest in this machine and make some content with it.
That'd be pretty cool, we'll see 👍
let's get into the swing of things. Also think the excavator is very cool and unique. Thank you bro, God bless you and your family, Mr. Animal.
Right on brother! God Bless
thats dandy stan. of course we want to see all the new toys ! so to speak. thats why we watch you :)
Nice idea.....but looks like it has a bit of a learning curve. It's hard to make one machine replace 2.... efficiently. And I agree....looks top heavy. Don't think I'll be replacing my JCB track loader and JD mini excavator with one any time soon 😆
Love the videos
Thanks Ian 👊
That's pretty neat!
Right 😁
Okay. That thing is cool as hell
Stan, from your enormous experiences in operating different equipment and construction, will you purchase one if you need to replace both a skid steer(loader) and a mini excavator?
How about a standard Front End Loader Backhoe?
Ran one of them Mecalac loaders few weeks back. Took me a while to get use to. Good power. Not going to lie… for the size ofc😂 shits puny
I ran a mecalec 6mcr for a little over a year I absolutely loved the machine I named her mecala other than a couple little dinky electrical problems and 1 problem with the emissions system but other than that I absolutely loved the machine had loads of power and has ridiculous track speed
We also had a wheeled 7 mwr but I hated that machine because it was super unstable
Their is another guy that ran a mecalac like this and hated it so its good to get another viewpoint. Thanks
the main reason cat went to china was the EPA. the EPA wanted to restrict what they built in the usa for the export market it had to be the same emissions standards as the usa
Definitely some cool features to this machine but to be honest with you I'm always skeptical of the all in one machines I'm sure it has a few downsides but it is a really neat concept I definitely like the way you can spin the cab of the machine without tearing everything up that is a huge advantage being able to swivel like that coming from someone that has a skid steer and mini excavator I'm somewhat skeptical to be honest the this machine can do everything as good as both those machines. my 2 cents
