From breaking ground to having foundation walls within a week. Kingsport by Caruso Homes

We’re doing an On Your Lot Kingsport also! I love following your progress. Unfortunately we’re not at the ground breaking stage yet, hopefully this month. I wanted to ask, how long did it take from acquiring the land, to breaking ground did Caruso take? We closed back in April and we still have not broken ground. Just wanted to see if that’s a similar timeline that you all have experienced. Thank you.

We purchased our lot in 2019 and hired our engineer November 2021. It took him about 8 months to complete the site plan and get the building permit.

Ok thank you. That makes me feel better. We bought our lot in April of this year (a lot that Caruso affiliated themselves with) and we are projected to break ground next month. So that make me feel a little better about the timeline, which feels like it’s taking forever lol.
