- Today we show Armand and Max how to tour like true Koreans in Mokpo - Non-stop eating!
We started the day with a simple brunch at a cafe then headed out to see the amazing view of Mokpo on the longest cable car in Korea. We then walked through a traditional market tasting an array of authentic Korean street food. Then for our main meal, we went for some authentic Tteokgalbi (beef rib patties) and finished off with some delicious hotteok! I’m full just writing all of this again!

오늘은 목포에서 아르망과 맥스에게 한국인들이 여행하는 방식을 보여줬는데요 - 바로 끝없는 먹방 투어! 가볍게(?) 카페에서 첫끼를 먹고 한국에서 가장 긴 해상 케이블카를 타고 목포의 멋진 경치를 만끽했습니다. 그 다음 전통시장에서 여러가지 길거리 음식을 맛본 후… 드디어 메인을 먹으러 60년 전통의 떡갈비 집으로 향했습니다! 마지막으로 호떡집에서 디저트를 먹었는데요 (스포: 몇시간 뒤 휴개소에서 또 먹습니다.) 지금 이걸 쓰는데 배부르네요 ㅎㅎㅎ

Max is such a wonderful little social butterfly interacting with everyone he meets. Armand is a bit more reserved, but both of them are such open, respectful, and humble young men. I have loved watching them experience different aspects of Korea and I look forward to more future videos from this series.

Especially the old fashioned place they stayed for the night. It seems so quiet and peaceful. Living in the city finding a quiet and solitude place just for urself to calm down is luxury.
Modern architecture is such a downgrade aesthetically from older architecture, both European and Asian. It's such a shame, but that's what we get when cost is the primary decider in new buildings.

It is SO CUTE that the language barrier does not bother them AT ALL. They try their best, do their best and speak/understand korean so well!! It's so cute to see them interact!

I don't want them to become barristers locked into long dull years, or scientists chained to their microscopes and coding programs to categorize miniscularities nobody cares about while their enthusiasm for life slowly drains away. I want to seem them enjoying life at first, then maybe segueing into an Armax show that starts to take on shades of No Reservations.

The highlight of this episode is this 14:10-17:50 them trying Hotteok. Joshua forcing Armand and Max to try red bean-filled food is always hilarious. I love that Armand and Max always immerse themselves in different experiences. Armand taking over Josh's job saying the outro of the vlog. On the other hand, Max enjoys South Korean Architecture. The chaotic atmosphere of the three is always fun and wholesome to watch. This series keeps getting better with each episode.
Max is so sweet for taking care of his friend in the cable car. I know lots of guys would have doubled down on tilting that cable car just to make fun of his friend. Sweet boys they are.

That Ddeok Galbi place is the kind you need to find when in Korea. All the best meals are in little, run down alleyways that only the locals (and Naver recommendation sites) know about.
One of the best bits of advice I was given when I first arrived in Korea: if you want a great, cheap meal, ask the taxi drivers where they eat lunch. They know ALL the best spots.

That's some solid advice right there! And the above sub-comment is right about those 기사식당, the (mostly) old school restaurants that drivers know about. They used to exist in greater numbers, I think. Those guys know good food, at the right price!

I second this thought. Shout out to Myounga Kalbi in Yangju - they have the best Kalbitang and side dishes.
These guys are blessed. It makes me happy to see people really appreciate and welcome other cultural foods into their lives. They're so polite and wanna learn more it just gives me such hope for the younger generation. I wish everyone was as adventurous. I would love to go on a food tour with Josh 😆👏

Many people does food touring CZcams but this particular series with Armand and Max is the most authentic and natural. The whole chemistry between the boys and Josh and the crew and the Korean locals is amazingly refreshing and honest.
Max and Armand are such appreciative young men. Max being impressed by EVERYTHING… I’m glad they were specifically able to do all this because my gosh are they grateful. They enjoy everything.
I just love it when max put s in “imo” which means aunties in korean. He went “anyeonghaseyo imos” like 이모s. So cute 😂🤏🏻

Hello, I am a Korean student attending an American uni, and I have done my middle and high school education in the western curriculum. I really do think that you depict the true Korean experience when it comes to its candidness unlike those tour programs companies offer. I am quite jealous of Max and Armand that they get to experience a whole lot more than I do (I lived in Korea until I was 17 years old then I moved to the states) 여러가지 방면의 한국문화를 다 경험하는거 같아 한국의 문화를 널리 알릴 수 있는 컨텐츠 인거 같아 참 좋네요. 특히 맥스랑 아르망이 대학생들이랑 같이 너무 재밋게 노는걸 보니 한국 대학생활을 해보지 못한 저는 그게 정말 부럽더라고요...

Waited weekly Wednesday at 6 pm New York City to watch this series with Max and Armand in Korea. Then I watch on replay until the next episode. Max and Armand are wholesome with child- like enthusiasm and respect experiencing new culture. What fine young gentlemen, your parents must be proud and thankful.

When Max sniffed the hongeo and almost barfed, that was 100% an Ollie reaction 😅 Back in the day, when the channel was still small, Josh and Ollie had hongeo with Simon and Martina from Eatyourkimchi, and poor Ollie threw up 🤮

I enjoy watching each and every video made by the Korean Englishman. It's a new concept, seeing foreigners try Korean culture. It's like a typical day for Koreans to eat Galbitang, but seeing them eat it... their content is so interesting.
