It is the highlight of our week to watch your adventures together as a family. It’s so lovely to see Hunter grow up and experience all this - she already seems like quite the little traveller already. Thank you for all your videos, we are missing home and whilst we are still in the UK for another year or so it has helped us feel connected to home.

Ooh, brings back fond memories of our trip in March we did from Darwin to Adelaide. Unfortunately, we didn’t go to Coober Pedy though. I think they wait until the weather cools down a little. I loved being rocked to sleep on the train. Hunter’s speech is coming along fast now!
@@jj-if6it We stopped off just in Kathryn and Alice Springs. One evening after dinner the train stopped somewhere else too just for a couple of hours which allowed people to see the stars and drink port around the fireplace. No marshmallows though unfortunately lol

I just love how you can get off the train and do different activities, like a cruise! I loved your room it looked so comfortable! I went on a day trip on the Orient Express once from London to Lincoln, had a huge Christmas Fair. I loved the underground church, how cool is that! Amazing scenery and sunsets, with a glass of champagne to boot! Hunter looked so pretty in her dress! Thank you for the vlog, beautiful scenery as usual! Australia is definitely on my bucket list to go visit one day! Such diverse scenery, a bit like the States!

We did the Ghan a couple of years back in the same class and "luxury" is not a word I would use to describe it. It was far too noisy to sleep, and I'm not a light sleeper, it was as rough as all hell, the toilet stopped working and they couldn't fix it and we froze at night. But the food and drink were good.

What are the chances! I was just talking to my son over the weekend about the Ghan and the Indian Pacific, having been on neither, and think how awesome it would be to do a trip on them. Oh yep so we didnt want to take away from the video by explaining it but we could only do the Alice Springs to Adelaide Journey ...so essentially parked our Van in Adelaide flew up to Alice Springs and then took the train back down to Adeliade...i know very silly way but this trains booked out into 2023 and there was a last minute cancellation we noticed and just couldn't miss out on making this video for you guys!
