What you just showed is Temu is knowingly selling counterfeit coins. Those are required to be stamped COPY to import into the US. We all know that China doesn't abide by any laws concerning counterfeiting. It would still be interesting to turn them in to the Authorities and see where it goes.
Ya I'm surprised they can get away with it. I'm curious if there is some kind of loophole they use or if they are just hoping it doesn't get flagged coming in. 😁Thanks for watching😊
@@BottleTopBandit , I'm not sure how they do it but I suggest contacting the Secret Service by phone. That is the agency that handles counterfeit currency. They have been pretty dilligent at stopping that. They may not know Temu is doing this.
@@michaelleeper3649I think it would help more to go to the local bank you deal with,. They can in turn let you know who to contact. They know more about how to contact the right person for counterfeit currency. They might even be able to get other banks involved who may have not known this stuff is out there and are cashing them in as real. Keep op top of this and it might be worthwhile for everyone. Knowledge is Power after all!
The authorities are on the side of China, once Biden's are out things may change a little of is not to late.
Super cool. I hadn’t seen the newer Maple Fakes. The radial lines look like they’ve made a drastic improvement in the last year. Crazy, thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching😊😊
There are security features on the maple. One is a small lasered maple leaf and a small "SB" on the bottom left of the queens shoulder.
I just went and looked and it is missing on the round from temu 😁I appreciate the knowledge thanks for watching😊
Definitely a fun video using the pocket pinger! The price of those rounds on Temu let you know that they were fake! Thanks for sharing! Have a terrific week!
One can always dream of finding $2 ounce silver 😂
Informitive! Thank You for Demonstrating the Pinger Device!
Thanks😊 Its a nice on the go quick tester.
@@BottleTopBandit I imagine it'll keep you from being scammed by an LCS that thinks they can con you into anything. Great Job! See you around!
Great test and demonstration man!
Thanks😊Was definitely hoping I found a great deal and would strick it rich😥Maybe next time😂
Hi Bottle Top Bandit! Great to see you identifying (and testing) the fakes! BTW... I just subscribed to your channel! Nice Video Content! 😎

@@BottleTopBandit 🤟🤟
Great video!
Thanks😊I appreciate you watching 😁
I'm shocked! Shocked I tell you!
😂😂😂
Thanks for this!! Mrs Metal orders from temu. I’ll send her this so she doesn’t get ripped off if she sees silver there. 🤝
It was worth a shot 😂 Silver for $2 an ounce would have been nice😁
Awesome video
Thanks I appreciate you watching 😊😊
This may sound weird, but I purposely bought off temu knowing they were fake. I needed a way to throw off criminals if they were to come into my house looking for gold/silver... I bought a bunch, then placed it at in an obvious spots... under bed, closet, etc. to a criminal, it looks like a few grand worth of silver, then thinking they got the jackpot they would stop looking and leave.
You know I've heard of that before but with cheap or broken laptops. Leaving them close to the door criminals thinking they already score something valuable are less likely to risk going further into the house😁 I appreciate you watching and for the comment😊😊
I've been looking for a way to get some fakes for a really cheap price so I can throw off any potential criminals. Definitely buying some soon.
Yes, I know what these are about. I have done videos about this to. They have fake silver bars and other bullions fakes as well.
Ya they have a bunch of others like the Morgan and Peace dollars Kennedy half's. Crazy how they can sell them. I appreciate you watching😁
@@BottleTopBandit The 50 Cent JFK one I got is worse than you probably expect.
@@BottleTopBandit I tagged you on the video with the JFK coin, if you have some time. A couple of the other coins/replica's/fakes are unexpected coins to bother with faking. But there you go. The Morgan's ran about 22.something grams on my scale.
@@Tomscoins2021 I'll definitely check it out😁
Yeah, silver for a buck, it must be super real, lol.
It would have been nice one can dream😂
don't expect to get a $30 -$35 coin for less than $ 2 lol, they should be required to have copy engraved on those fascimiles like other companies do, shysters can unload those on the unsuspecting at flea markets and such!!!!!
I couldn't believe how close the look to the real ones. I am surprised they aren't required to have copy or replica visibly stamped somewhere on them. Thanks for watching😊
Those high sale numbers are definitely scammers, trying to rip other people off. Prob in local selling. That silver benji was a bit disturbing. Dont want that flooding the chr game
Ya I was very surprised when the magnet didn't stick to the Benji.
Wow that crazy bottle top good to kno
I couldn't believe how many where sold😁
@@BottleTopBandit crazy amout of fakes out there
Nice vid. The thud sound of fakes. 😂
Thanks😊😊😊
Good video
Thank you😊I appreciate you watching 😁
Is that not c o underwriting if used as money?? I got two silver dollars ...if I used them it would be counterfeiting..! On the back in miniature letters it says "copy"!
I believe it is Im not sure how they get away with it.
What's up with the blur on 5:00?
My reflection wasn't very flattering was trying to save the eyes of the viewers😂😂😂
Cool video! Ive also heard there are alot of fake eagles out there. Because im new to stacking i havent took any risks and only ordered from large online bullions, sdbullion, jm bullion and my last purchase was from monument metals who seem to be the most affordable trustworthy source. Id like to get one of these coin pingers and try my luck at some local coin shops now
Thanks I appreciate you watching 😊I do a lot of purchasing online and use those sites quite often and have never had a problem they are great. I also use Monarch Precious Metals and Apmex if the price is right😁 The Pinger is a great tool to have its definitely not as accurate as a Sigma but the price is way better😂
Temu is also a way the Chinese can get your personal information. Additionally the Kangaroos have a micro engraved “A” somewhere in the lettering on the reverse side
I just went and looked at both again I did see the Micro A inside the a in Australia on the know good one and the temu one was definitely missing it.
I appreciate you watching and thanks for the comment😊
Hey thanks for putting this video out showing how they are making fakes.
I think Temu should be removed from American App stores personally, someone could easily mistake these for real, try selling them, then get in trouble for trying to sell counterfeit
I agree if someone is just starting to stack silver and doesn't know what to look out for they could get burned. When you see the amount of these that have sold it's pretty concerning.
I appreciate you watching and commenting 😁
Honestly, Temu isn’t that bad. I ordered a sliver chain off their website and it’s real so I guess that’s a good sign?
It's really that's awesome! I haven't tried ordering any kinda of jewelry from temu yet but I have also order a few house and clothing items and those seemed to be pretty decent😁
The flip of the ASE, failed that test.
😁😁😁
Thank you for doing this. Hopefully people will see this and only buy from a reputable dealer. Too many counterfeits from China.
I real hope so would hate to see someone get fooled by these fakes. I appreciate you watching and thanks for the comment😊
VERY disturbing.
I totally agree.
@@BottleTopBanditThe counterfeit coins are scary. Did you really expect the Silver to be authentic? I know you did not. The Secret Service needs to be made aware and tell Customs to intercept packages with counterfeit coins...any coins. I have used TEMU for loupes and flashlights as well as a carat scale that works well. But the Chinese exportation of counterfeit coins needs to stop We don't fake Yuan and export it to them.
If you read the descriptions it says they are copies not real so you shouldve just kept reading
That's true for the ASE and the Benji but the Kangaroo and the Maple nowhere in the description stated copy or replica. I appreciate you watching and thanks for the comment😁
Don't really know why you bothered. If you scroll down through the item descriptions it TELLS you that they aren't real.
Ya some say replica but there is a few that say made of high quality silver in the description. I figured there was no chance but was hoping for a miracle😂😂😂$2 an oz silver would have been amazing😁
@BottleTopBandit I've seen those. If you dig, though, you can find the truth in more of the description.
@@Wolfe_Metals_Stacking At least BTB Got a very good discussion going and it should continue. The coin community needs to KNOW!!
While these prices made it clear they aren't real there are alot more coins on eBay, Amazon and wish that are less obviously imposters. It would be cool to see a few coins sold at spot price with high reviews that aren't real
Actually the Temu coins are sold as replicas. Then they say copy on them. Uh...that should tell you something. They're novelty coins. Not intended to be real.
You must have got different ones then we did. On the ones we got they dont say copy or replica anywhere on them. There is a few spelling differences on the coins like on the ASE instead of dollar it says bollos and the Maple instead of dollar it says ddllar😁 But ya it should be pretty obvious your not gonna find a 1oz round for that cheap😂 But a guy can dream😂
Isn't the first test the price point. 😂
For sure but there's always a chance 😂😂😂It woulda definitely been a sweet deal😁
@@BottleTopBandit Yeah but the Quantities of what they offer isn't up to REAL TIME! When you can get lets say 50 1920 /coins that look the same and with ZERO markings from handling, You just know!
So, suppose some family member knows that you like silver. They buy you some "silver" from TEMU, should you thank them or make fun of them?
Definitely a little bit of both😂😂
@@BottleTopBandit Great answer!
@@BottleTopBandit Just think, unfortunately a Stacker dies, his wife tries to find the value of his collection. Temu shows Silver Eagles for $2.00, and she sells them for that! Most people have no clue. I've read about people who either tag or make lists of special coins, to make sure that their heirs will get a fair value for rare or unique coins. If someone has a decent collection, there should be something written for guidance. Your video just got me thinking, and non-stackers won't know what price to believe.
👍👍
😊😊😊
To counterfeit is death. This is illegal if they are not stamped copy.
Ya I don't see anywhere on these that Indicate it's a copy
Temu eagle is a proof finish 😂
😂
Who could be so naive as to think those prices are real? Sure hope you didn’t spend too much.
It could definitely happen. I'm sure quite a few people don't stack silver so they might not know that finding silver for $22 dollars under spot may be to good to be true. They weren't to expensive all 4 of these where under $10 which woulda been a steal😂 I appreciate you watching and commenting😊
Real silver has a lower earthy tone compared to higher tone of nickel .
I don't know how well it came up on the video but ya you could definitely hear the difference between them😊 Thanks for watching and commenting it's very much appreciated 😊
Shocker.
😂😂😂
I thought counterfeiting was a felony
That's what I thought as well. I'm not sure how they are getting away with it.
Thanks for watching and commenting 😊
"Gosh they look so similar I can hardly tell the fake" bro wut? those fakes look like 💩
😁😁
I appreciate you watching😊
So perhaps TEMU is a subsidiary of WISH.
Could be they are very similiar😁
@@homerj806 So with wish some of the money stays in the US while the rest goes to China? So that would technically still be supporting the CCP? So best to just shop local😁
My guess is Yes!
Nice Try😊😊😊😊
Thanks😊 Had to give it a try😂 It woulda been a great find😁
It's disgusting! Not listening to my own instincts, i stupidly bought a few solid silver chains and rings. In the end they started turning copper as i kinda thought they probably would. If you are unsure, don't buy it. Actually there's nothing special about their prices because the stuff is mass produced and of low quality.
I have noticed that quite a few of the things they sell are around the same price as on Amazon😁
Definitely fake $2 dollars only and the size the sounds definitely fake thank you for this review to alert the other people don’t know about silver, thank you I appreciate this video 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼❤️❤️❤️
Thank you😊😊I appreciate you watching😁
If a deal is to good to be true is probably not true
That's is usually the case😂It woulda been a sweet deal for sure tho😁
it says that its a replica in the names
Ya I seen that on the 2 US coins but i don't believe the Maple or Kangaroo had it clearly said😁Thanks for watching and commenting very much appreciated 😊
Before even watching im going to guess thats its not real. Lol
😂😂 Ya unfortunately they were fake😁 But we had to take a chance😂2 dollar an ounce silver woulda been the deal of a lifetime
Sue them. Make them stop selling sterling silver ok pls
😊😊😊
Cool video. They're frauds
Ya its crazy how they can get away with it.
Thanks for watching😊
Lol we, so if they are real are you sending them to me
😂😂😂
Lmao. Sure, I'm sure it is.
$2 an oz silver could be possible! 😂Definitely couldn't pass up the opportunity to at least see for ourselfs😂😂
Temu sells fake sterling jewlery. Dont waist your money
I havent ordered jewelry from them but I'll definitely stay away😊 Thanks for watching and commenting 😁
That’s really interesting how to tell the difference ⚓️🧲👍
Some quick easy ways to test. There are other ways with chemicals but these are definitely the easiest to try.
