I legit like the new fly better than the old one. It feels more impactful and less just time consuming.
It’s also wayyyy better for the builds I want it for. I don’t really like heavy spawner decks but it helps when I have like a shark or the one that gets melon armor and damage when something dies in front of it

The fact that whale parrot deer got a 10 win 0 loss run makes me want to uninstall Windows and go touch grass for a living.
Like...its the literal same output of buses as whale deer, but it adds a 6/3. Instead of the deer creating 2 buses, the parrot creates one of them and the deer creates the other. Its literally only adding a vanilla 6/3. I'm shaking. He can't keep getting away with this level of memery. This can't be real.

For the majority of my life my parents and now my family has been doing live Christmas trees, dug out of the ground and then we replant them after the holidays. Also nice to look back on the years and point to a tree and say that was Christmas of '95. I think in the 25+ years we've been doing it we lost 1 tree. Yes it's a lot more work, but you get a real tree and a negative carbon footprint in the long run.

You usually didn’t summon much more than 3 anyways, now fly is op while also being able to be sorta usable on other loadouts
@@huang111 Kind of depends on the build really whether or not you aummoned more than 3. I think the thing with Fly on it's own is that it's very good as a win now animal if you have a healthy amount of wins coming into the lategame and just need to win a few rounds, but if you're limping into the lategame it's probably better to go for something that has a higher potential long term or else you'll hit a wall.

Singular use plastic straws are so very very very very important for disabled individuals. I shake from a TBI and medication I take and so I can spill things I'm holding. Single use plastic straws can be kept both in hot or cold liquids, can bend, have give when bitten or pressed on, and are firm enough to hold their shape. There is no eco-friendly disability friendly straws.
In an ideal world there would be options or alternatives for such, like a biodegradable plastic of sorts or as single use disposable medical devices which could be covered by insurance, ideally (imo) universal. the problem lies in how much of the populace is going to be willing to give up their "right" to produce/consume them with abandon.
Thank you for bringing this up though, I personally hadn't considered that there's valuable, unique use for it, given how ubiquitous single use plastics are. In general, any reasonable person would be able and willing to see where exceptions need to be carved out (by definition or else they're unreasonable). But it's still very important to press the importance of those exceptions regardless

@@sock7896 I've tried to use some alternatives and let me go through and say the problems.
Biodegradable: breaks down when exposed to heat. Not good for hot drinks. Hard if not impossible to find a bending version.
Reusable plastic: stiff, hard, and can break easily. Most are not made from a heat safe plastic. Can break a tooth. Do not bend.
Silicone: too soft, doesn't hold it's shape for people who have a hard time getting it in the mouth, can't bend without cutting off liquid.
Paper: designed more for single use, breaks apart really easily. Do not recommend for heat.
Metal: not good for heat, doesn't bend, can break a tooth or cut a person, can cause burns.
Candy: too hard, doesn't bend, can't use in heat, can cut a person and/or break a tooth.
✨single use plastic straws✨ bends to various degrees without cutting off liquid, firm to put in mouth but has give to not damage mouth, can handle heat with no problem and can be used for a prolong period of time. Also doesn't hold heat so it's less likely to cause burns.
I personally keep a stock of reusable plastic and biodegradable for days where I don't need the extra support from a single use plastic straws. I try to reuse my single use straws as much as possible limiting it to 2-3 a day rinse and reuse.

I honestly just drink straight up from their cups like a barbarian. Idk why but it feels refreshing to me, so long as it's not hot. Never seen a biodegradable utensils tho. I mostly buy easy food like kebab and tacos lol

To weigh in on the Christmas tree thing, the tree farms that I've been to always just plant the trees year-round and you can see them in their different stages when you're there. So they're basically planting new trees all the time and keeping around the same number the entire year. I really don't see how that's bad for the environment at all, especially when the alternative is that land being used for a supermarket or something
The amount of resource like water and chemicals come into play and basically counter each other out. Not to mention vehicles used on the property etc

@@OzyGuy29O Which is probably still less of the impact of plastic trees and their production cost. Not to mention, none of the tree farms I went to used chemicals or much machinery. They're trees. Not crops. They don't need nearly as much maintenance. They just rotate through fields. Once a field gets too old/sparce, it gets sold for wood burning and is replanted. So there's no need to try and perfect the field anyway.
Personally, I prefer real trees just because most plastic ones look like shit. It's part of christmas to bring in a real tree, have the natural smell around the house, and so on.
you can just rent a christmas tree in a pot, water it and then return it to the tree farm when christmas is over. best option imo but i guess people rather like dealing with dead trees and their issues than living ones lol
@@pagatryx5451 soil still needs tending, and everything still needs to be watered year round, which takes up a lot of resources and effort. i dont necessarially disagree with you but you are not taking the cost and sheer amount of water that goes towards trees that inevitably dont serve much of a purpose because of how little time they exist before being cut down

Interesting thing to think about egg take it how you want but the co2 that trees take out of the air is actually stored in the wood so if you cut a tree and don’t burn it, it mostly served it’s purpose. Not disagreeing tho I am a no tree man myself
The CO2 stored in the wood will still be released when the tree decomposes.
I agree with you that NL is misled here, but for different reasons: Trees actually aren’t a permanent carbon sink because any carbon that they store in their wood as they grow will just be released back into the atmosphere when they die and are decomposed by bacteria. So in short, cutting down a tree isn’t harmful to the environment because you are just accelerating a process that happens naturally anyway.

I should add as a side note that trees actually can serve as an effectively permanent carbon sink if you find a way to isolate them from the atmosphere, for instance by burying their remains deep underground where the gas from their decomposition won’t reach the surface

Also side note on fake tree. My family has had our tree for over 20 years so yeah footprint is smaller than a new tree every year. (Also in order for the tree to biodegrade it needed to be transported which causes pollution)

idk about other countries, but in the UK you can rent a Christmas tree. That's what my family does. Then the tree doesn't get thrown away, but instead gets looked after for next year.

This message is for Jesse who made the comment in twitch chat, its around 6:55 if you wanna hear it for yourself. Cutting down trees is actually worse for the environment because trees and all organic plant matter trap carbon inside of their cell lining and use that carbon to grow bigger and taller. So when you cut down a tree and just use it for a couple weeks and then dispose of it later, your releasing tons and tons of pent-up carbon and carbon dioxide waste that the tree has been storing for years and years bringing the next total of carbon emissions to a negative. That's why it is better to have a reusable plastic tree which you don't throw away

Plastics are made from Oil. Which is pretty much just millions of years old Carbon stored in the ground. Trees just store "recent" carbon. And pretty much anything but burning down forests or other indistrial uses pretty doesn't have any significant impact on atmospheric CO2.

Am I the only one that thinks the Ox is just not very good at all? Like even having two triggers it turns into a 5/4 with melon armor that doesn’t get stronger past that point
It's good when you pill a unit in front of it and then pile stats on it, it's an early unit that can get melon armor and it goes off the charts if you play your cards right.

@@ninjacell2999 It's attack heavy so it doesn't really matter and mid game it gets two guaranteed kills or just takes out big front runners. I think it's valuable to a point for sure. It's like a solid b tier unit.

It’s amazing how quick people are to toss out silly arguments like.. “plastic trees are worse for environment, cutting down real trees is better” and so on..
In reality a “fake tree” would be mostly made out of a wire frame with plastic bits (this could be replaced with recycled materials in more modern fake trees) but it gets used for many years, the only thing that changes is the decoration. In my house for example, we have been using the same tree for over a decade, setting it up and taking it down year in year out.
