But if he grinds his teeth, his jaw would be sore and they could have given him a special device to insert in his mouth at night, and once his body realizes the grinding doesn't work, he may not need to wear it. But TMJ is very painful, shoots up into the head. I think the dentist screwed him. He should get a second opinion, nothing personal, bud but my mouth is insured for $7million and I don't want you ducking it fup! I'm a big advocate of doing all you can to save your teeth - and not let any dentist be a THREAT to your health!
If he had to get bone removed, he sure as hell couldn't have an implant! There's something really creepy about this!

Haha! I pulled a similar prank as a summer camp teacher.. Told the kids why they shouldn't run because I slipped and fell from running when i was a kid, and broke my jaw.. But told them they were fresh out of human jaws, so I had to get a dog's jaw. Then asked them if they wanted to touch it....needless to say I scared a couple of them so bad, I got a couple phone calls from angry parents the next day, and almost lost my job!! Lol

This makes me laugh due to needing a bone graft first and dental implant myself. It’s a wild and long ride! A bone graft is done with cadaver bone and it takes a while for bone build back up before the dental implant process can begin.
I’ve never heard of this, but it sounds horrifying! I’m glad you’re ok now lol

As a dentist I LOVE watching celebrities experiences at the dentist but I always find myself thinking what the hell kinda dentists these people are going to, I hope it's just embellishments on the story to make it funny, but a great story overall

How on earth has he gone so long without getting a tooth extracted? I started getting nitrous when I was 7. We called it the blue nose. I’ve had tons of teeth pulled, plus my wisdom teeth. Cadaver bone is where they get the bone graft

I understand what Billy went through a bit. Not 9 hours tho but I had to get two rotten teeth. I was so nervous I asked the dentist if I could blast my music through my headphones. When Billy talks about the sound going through his head is the worst part. Lucky The Ramones “I wanna be sedated” played during the whole thing but didn’t block the noise in my head 😂

So many Americans can’t afford both health and dental insurance. They come to get dental work with out being insured dentist offices charge them the same as insured. How about having affordable prices and not using any insurance programs. You don’t or at least not enough if you do, so I don’t give a shyt if I make you uncomfortable, you absolutely are ok with making me uncomfortable.
I’ll consider it on a case by case basis, if I ever do walk into a dentist, periodontist office that has reasonable flat rates with no insurance I will not make them uncomfortable and they will have plenty of consistent business due to word of mouth.
