@@mastermusicmarketing if someone is making an album, when should they put out a single? for example, if you're still working on the two last songs on a 12 song album, is it okay to release a single? should it be a month before the album comes out? i know this is more of a personal thing that you would decide, but i've only seen videos on what to do before you drop a single, not when. also, when do you know when a album too short or too long?

The best way to get a record deal is to start selling records independently. If your music makes enough noise, the labels will chase after you.

my best advice is to find a musician/composer/arranger to work with. Songs sell best as a complete package.

The one thing people don't realise about major label s is the years of connection they have aquire with media and other platforms. The typical artist does not have the money or time to build the friendships with all the media outlets and venues etc
