One day in Valencia, visiting the cathedral, checking out the beach and finally seeing the City of Arts and Sciences.

With a flight delay I had to prioritise what I wanted to see and experience in Valencia in one day. The three areas were the old town and the cathedral, the beach and the modern City of Arts and Sciences.
There could be worse places to be stranded for a day. In fact, we would love it! The catedral is gorgeous inside and out. But then the star attraction would dwarf anything else. No relic could compare to the "Holy Chalice!" Whether accurate or not, it would be an amazing experience to see it. Beautiful beach and coastal area with all the restaurants and such. That's an amazing, stunning bridge and museum! The architecture is splendid. As were the buildings looking out your hotel window. Thanks so much for bringing us along.
Seeing the chalice was interesting, as it's quite hard to see! You can't actually get very close and it's behind glass with light reflection, it's only after I saw the footage that I took that I could actually see it. Sadly being delayed meant that I missed out on the original first day in Valencia that I planned with was to spend it all in the old part of town. It just means I have to go back one day!
I have never been to Valencia. The views of the Catedral were beautiful inside and out. So amazing to know that the holy chalice was located in the Catedral. Such a lovely city. Interesting bridge, beach, architecture, palm trees and lovely old town buildings. Wonderful narration and great information. Thanks for sharing with us. Enjoy the weekend.
It's a lovely city, I want to go back to spend more time in the old part of the city, there's so much more to see. Thanks for watching!
Nice glimpse of Valencia. Have often thought of visiting but not yet made it. The City of Arts and Sciences is a really exciting looking area. It is the mixture of ancient and modern that attracts me. Hope you are enjoying a great adventure wherever you are today.
The mixture of the architecture is what really interested me in seeing the City of Arts and Sciences, I didn't spend any time inside the buildings. Sadly due to a delayed flight I didn't get to spend much time in the old part of the city. I need to return to really explore that part of Valencia. Thanks for watching!
Wow you used your delayed time really well the architecture on the cathedral was stunning and wow that beach is gorgeous shame you didn’t have your swimsuit! The arts and science buildings are super! Have a great week ❤️👍
I have to admit that the thought of spending a day with a book on a sun lounger by the sea looked like a very appealing option instead of trying to see interesting parts of the city! Next time! Thanks for watching.
Some pretty sights!
The old town in particular is very pretty! Thanks for watching!
Valencia looks gorgeous and voice to see what can be done in 24 hours. The architecture is wonderful here and I especially
loved the gothic style cathedral there inside and out, so beautiful as you walked around inside. The beach area I agreed was so beautiful and huge. Lovely place :) ~ Anna
You can see a lot in 24 hours but it's more of a speed tour! I'd love to return and have more time, it's a really lovely city. Thanks for watching!
Lovely city!
It really is! Thanks for watching!
A lovely tour around Valencia and even though your time was short there, you managed to enjoy many beautiful places.
I like to think my first place I visit somewhere new is my 'reconnaissance' trip so I can decide if I want to return and spend longer. Valencia was one of those places that definitely needs a return visit and a longer one too.
The beach looks fantastic!
It was! Thanks for watching!
Beautiful places, and great architecture!!!!!❤❤
The old town is really lovely and I want to return to see more of it. Thanks for watching!
That's great my dear friend. I wish you to have the chance to return there very soon.
