well the crypto market is expected to do way better than any other equity sectors this 2024 especially with the SEC crypto ETF approval but it’s a volatile market nevertheless and if you’re new to it, it’s best to reach out to an experienced adviser for proper guidance.
Yes, my asset manager advised I spread further into mutual funds and crypto Etf and boy am I glad I did. The whole idea is: Don’t get too greedy and also to exit at the right time, so generally I do find having an adviser very helpful, because what Avg. Joe really has time to watch and comprehensively analyse the market.

It's been dumping and pumping in this range for ages! It's technically just going sideways, sideways means generally stagnant. More emphasis should be put into day trading, as it less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market. Trading has been going smooth for me as I managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 732k in the space of a few months... She's actually better informed and more successful trading than the vast majority of maxis lol. The problem with bitcoin is that the US, EU, UK and UN governments hate it, publicly so. It has also become a wallstreet fucktoy, which is the only reason for the current price. BTC and ETH could both go down very quickly based on a single new regulation in any major western country, or even westernized like say Japan, and it could also go down very quickly the day Wallstreet decides to move assets to another rising token or coin. On top of that, it now obviously behaves like a stock, which blows away the whole outside-of-the-system freedom money. On top of that, we're moving into a global tokenization of everything valuable, which requires newer blockchains that can specialize into industries. BTC can't do that. Look at how much shit is happening on the network because of the newly dropped Runes, look at the miners war situation, how much of it is being mined in China, and what those miners' general attitude is online. The thing is, if BTC is a store of value, then literally any well built coin that can do literally everything better, faster and cheaper than BTC is also a store of value. The only difference right now is that you can use BTC to buy shit at stores in a bunch of countries, because the local goverments allow it. That can go away with one law, and other cryptos can replace that service with another law. The thing is, the future of crypto is in utility coins. As for Saylor, he's the typical shill: he went all in on BTC when it was at the previous ATH, , for tax evasion purposes, then BTC dropped on its ass, and since then Saylor has become the voice for an infinitely increasing BTC. No shit... the dude won't recover from his investment until BTC goes at least to 200+K. And every month that passes I keep hearing increasingly higher valuation for BTC, recently something like 5 million USD per coin. People have no idea how much money would need to go into BTC to reach those levels, and considering the US economy is tanking, as well as the EU who is broke as fuck from covid, ukraine and printing magical money that tax income will never keep up with, I would be surprised if we ever see a higher price that say 150K. Even that would surprise me. And if we're talking about BTC in 10 years time, by then there will be dozens of utility tokens being used throughout major industries for real daily use, that will go up in price massively and will be a much better investment to recommend to friends than BTC which has already mooned several times and would require tremendous amounts of money to do even a 5x from here. Oh and on top of that, the vast majority of CZcams traders loving BTC only love it because it's volatile enough to be the perfect trading tool for people who make a living trading scalp, daily or weekly as swing traders. And again, all of that could go away really quickly.

I started buying bitcoin and crypto in 2021. Held and accumulated though the bear market and now I could buy a Ferrari if I wanted to. If bitcoin goes to zero so be it but I’m not selling my bitcoin anytime soon. Crypto on the other hand will be sold in mid 2025

Proof of works is what gives it security and proofs an effort expend on its production. Proof of stake is not different from fiat ponzi.
Gold can be used for things besides transactions. That’s its value as a currency.

Not true, Gold has a number of unique practical characteristics which will always support its value. It is invaluable for space travel and satellite construction. The James Webb telescope has a mirror coated in gold the size of a tennis court for instance which could not be made from any other material. Gold will actually become increasingly valuable in the decades and centuries to come due to our exponential requirement for it in high tech.

Never underestimate Bitcoin. Proof of work is way more secure than proof of stake (the blockchain she speaks of) which is centralised as. The reason there are so many Bitcoin etf’s now is because governments can’t stop it. Therefore, although prices can be manipulated so can gold and silver prices. Look at how much Bitcoin has increased in price compared to gold. Always more gold being found. Just because something is of high value doesn’t mean it won’t go a lot higher. Buy winners not losers. Many of the best stocks would have drawn comment like this like amazon or apple stock very much at the beginning. Things look very different now that many years have past by.
The pyramid scheme argument is certainly true of some crypto's. For many this claim would be objectively true. There are others where it is a little early to tell.
Bitcoin however has been around longest and this should work in it's favour to some degree - lets see where we are in a few more years. It Bitcoin continues to do well in 2028 or 2029 the pyramid scheme argument starts to lose credibility.
Some may claim large quick returns from Bitcoin - I think that is faulty. Putting luck to the side you should be holding for 4 - 5 years minimum and taking a longer view.

@chris4466 because it wasn't well known or popular at the time. The value of bitcoin is entirely dependant on demand, so of course when few people know about it, it's value will be low. Nowadays, everyone knows about it, so those kind of net gains are unlikely for the near future
I am glad you looked at this topic but get a guest like Dominic Frisby who knows the subject. Bitcoin and gold are both political and monetary and owning them is far more important than the vote. Governments have to be able to steal your wealth to keep expanding their power. Stop the talk and do something positive by taking your wealth out of their grasp. .

How can you regulate the Bitcoin itself? The whole point is that nobody controls it. You can only regulate exchanges and ETFs, you’d have to basically get rid of the internet to stop peer to peer Bitcoin transactions.
