@Hay m high It doesnt work that way. The lower numbers are all fixed amounts. Not knowing all the numbers off the top of my head and unless you pay extra for power play 5 balls gets you 1 mill. If you pay for power play could be up to 5 mill. 4 balls is like 10k, it will increase if you pay for power play but nowhere near a million. And that is no matter how big the jackpot prize is.
dumb take. $20 million would net about $6M after the dust settles...vs $600M for a $2B prize.
the payments on $20M are paltry...the payments on $2B are well over a million a month, averaged out.
Guys.... take the lump sum! Half a billion dollars invested conservatively will still make you over 3 billion after 30 years
I'm glad he is ok. Security is always a main focus when winning this sort of money. Heck, can u say cameras and a condo on the top floor. I don't want a house. Just a Penthouse. In a secured building. Rubbing elbows with the rich baby. I don't need all of the maintenance. I want to live lavish. I already know where I want to live. My day is here.

That’s so scary being a winner. How do you stay anonymous when you are being broadcasting. This money could help so many homeless folks all over the world so hopefully the winner or winners will donate and help homeless people

I would try not to tell the whole word I won the Lottery! True blue friends won’t care about how much money you have. Very easy to tell the difference. I would rather have my old friends than hang with snobby new rich people who pretend to be your new friends!

He said....if you are young. Younger people tend to not take wise counsel of investing the money and living on dividends. Taking the payout will force this and 10-15 years later, when you're more mature...you will still have money coming. Most blow the lump sum in 5-7 years.
If it pays out over 30 years, they'd be getting 5.5M a MONTH! Don't have to worry if you screw up and lose it, because mores coming! Plus you get more in total that way.

I think that the lotttery shouldn't be so much. With so many people in need of money, why not find a way for the lottery to serve many people, including people in lower income areas. Include a special lottery for the homeless and displaced. For those who need help with mortgage, medicine, etc. Sorry, but millions upon millions of dollars going to one person is a waste.
And even those who donate to charity's...the momnet from charity's still don't get to people

Not true. Many people have wonderful successful lives after winning the lottery. But it tends to be the ones who were doing well in life to begin with. If your life is a disaster before you win, the money will only cause your life to escalate completely out of control.
