Eric's insights about getting older (around 00:53 forward) were bang-on. Good job getting moments like that in, we don't often get personal touches like that in his interviews, and the man has wisdom to spare.

Eric does not get the credit he deserves for being the consummate professional he truly is. I also respect how he owns the highs ands lows of his time in pro wrestling. You can tell how much of a secure man he is compared to a lot of the victimized click bate Karen’s that complain about him constantly. Thank you for this nerd out session sir. This father of 3 kiddos who love wrestling enjoyed it immensely.

I love listening to Eric. It was a helluva time to be a kid/ teenager in the 90s. He's responsible for some of my best memories. Stuff that didn't make sense that he did when I was a kid, makes perfect sense now. Thanks Eric!

Booker t puts the blame on Eric and Hulk Hogan, but you will never hear him criticize Triple H or Vince McMahon and this only shows whether he is actually a logical and honest person or not But the Eric, Hulk and even Vince Russo haters won't admit it. When Mr. Booker says that Hulk Hogan only thinks about himself, but he and his brother admitted that Hogan was the one who asked WCW management to push the Harlem Heat team. I don't understand how he can only think about himself and at the same time help your team, Booker T?? Eric Bischoff was suffering from people above him who were interfering in his decisions, so Eric is not the final boss as is the case with Vince McMahon, but Booker T and Eric's haters do not understand that and only like to lie to themselves. WCW would have closed its doors from day one before Eric, Hulk, or Russo arrived. They had nothing to do with the death of the company. This company was opened only to be closed . booker T is a WWE A kisser

Don't think I can stand another round of bischoff putting himself over and 'not remembering' whether he booked anything that was the absolute shits.
    So I won't.

Sorry, that whole story he tells of starcade and sting feels like b.s. he always tells it that something was off with sting, never elaborating, now says maybe anxiety of not performing for so long. So an entire year and a half storyline was worth questioning and messing up over this one feeling? Sting still won so you didnt question that, just how messed up to make it happen. He will also at times speak of his ring shape, etc, you didnt SEE him all the way up to this day every Monday? you didnt notice a month, two months, last week, he wasn't looking how he wanted him to? Never thought of till that afternoon? You just assumed? Also, they have this private talk after Sting leaves the room, very professional, gee, wonder why everyone says Hulk was in control . You were 24/7 hulk but not 2 minutes to make sure anything to Sting? No ,the part that i feel is glossed over , though here he said felt had to by hulk, is HULK didnt want to do what the story called for and get his ass kicked, he needed to make sure HE looked good coming out of it, or Sting looking bad, cause as we all learned years later he was massively paid and bonuses with his contract, and couldnt let that be effected in anyway and may have thought he would lose leverage, idk. Hulk said not today? THAT was the day! Something happened that day and I do believe it was Hulk looking out for Hulk, cause nothing else mentioned fits to mess up the biggest storyline/payoff in wcw history at that time.

I mean this as respectfully as I can sir. Perhaps just a different take. Did Brett not look out for Brett for majority of his career? I’m sure a lot of these gentlemen and ladies did.

It's not bs at all. Sting himself has corroborated the story. Eric said it wasn't his place to talk about what Sting was going through, he always said that he would let Sting talk about that, and only Sting. Sting spoke on it on, I believe, an inside the ropes interview , he said going into that show, his home life was falling apart and he tried to hide it at work. He was dealing with addiction and his wife wanted out of the marriage. Sting himself said that he was not there mentally, he was checked out and that Eric was right. Sting said that period of his life is what brought him to religion.
