This Drama was about family relationships with some romance but each character had their own journey to travel. A young man with a painful past longing for family, a woman seeking independence from a possessive mother and striving for a successful career, other characters with their own issues making up a delightful absorbing drama. The love story interwoven is beautiful but it is not the main point of the story, this is about family. Xu Kai is just gorgeous and Yang Zi perfect in her role. Please don’t miss this drama it’s worth watching

Sehr schönes Ende mit der Familie !...-Moi- même Française habitant en Allemagne ,j' ai une grande famille en France et une plus petite en Allemagne, une fille franco- allemande et 2 petits- enfants en France,les autres enfants dans différentes régions d' Allemagne, suis plutôt " famille" ,si bien que j' aime aller de temps en temps pour rendre visite ,mais aussi revenir dans le pays où j' ai travaillé ,je suis restée,tout en sachant que la famille française vient me rendre visite 2 à 3 fois par an.- Noël se passe toujours ensemble !,egal où !- La famille est un bon point de repère à tout âge et un soutien er une prolongation,même si nous sommes tous différents,indépendants ,mais ouverts!...
- C' était une série avec des dialogues intelligents,des acteurs super bons ( vraiment tous !), une histoire intéressante et beaucoup de scènes amusantes !( le bus ouvert,la scène du drap à essorer,les repas en famille,la mère énervante et ÉNERVÉE,le père qui essayait de calmer sa femme,la bonne grand- mère avec son héritage étonnant,er bien d' autres...Félicitations à tous !- De la part d' une admiratrice de plus de 70 ans !❤

This drama doesn't have romance as its main genre; it's a family drama and has always shown that the focus was on the mother-daughter relationship. Romance was a subgenre within it. If you watched this and couldn't understand its premise from the beginning, even though it was very clear, it's not the drama's fault.
@@feng1164 if this is all about mother and daughter relationship, why wasn’t the mother the main lead instead of supporting cast? And why make Xu Kai the main lead? Also the bio for this series was romantic comedy drama, barely any romance, definitely not comedy and 90% drama due to mom.
@wilsontang4745 Because this is a female-centric drama. And even though she is called a supporting character, it doesn't mean that she is less important, in fact she is part of the primary plot that involves Huan Huan and her entire illness also helped in the development and understanding of the two. Xu Kai, yes, is the protagonist, he has his own arc and great character development. And I don't know where you were looking at the genre classification of this drama, because most sites, especially MyDramaList, also make it clear that it's a drama about family and life, romance and comedy are subgenres included. The tags also include "mother-daughter relationship", "controlling parent", etc. Even the drama's synopsis clarifies its focus.
I don't think I can watch this drama as a whole...I really can't stand dramas where the mother is so toxic and annoying. I'll just watch the necessary eps and skip all the annoying eps with her mom.
