  • The Buddy Rich Memorial Scholarship Concert with The Buddy Rich Big Band and Dennis Chambers in Los Angeles, 1989.
    Tracks:
    00:07 - Sister Sadie
    03:14 - Dancing Men (part I)
    06:40 - Drum solo
08:15 - Dancing Men (part II)
Upscaled to 2160p@60fps resolution with AI technology (which is confused by Dennis Chambers' curly hair) + remastered audio.
Source: DVD by DCI Music Video Inc., 2006
The source is not only low resolution but also low quality and over compressed video with badly recorded audio, so don't expect a miracle. The audio remaster was focused on the drum set and the bass.

Fantastic! When Chambers plays it just all seems to come natural without even working up a sweat.

The second solo is truly one of the most underrated drum solos in history. The shit he's doing with his feet alone is just, so far ahead of its time..

Dennis is without equal in my mind. The stuff he could do in his younger days defies belief. His hand speed alone is off the charts.

How come the whole band missed their cue at around 08.25 and he had to count them back in? Absolutely nuts drumminh all the way through.
