Hello! I am Core, the charter of Ars Cantate, as well as three other charts.
I'm surprised, to be completely honest. I never expected this chart to place this high. Boss song buff? Who knows. Speaking of boss songs…
This chart was made as a way to challenge myself. I wanted to make something harder than Nue, but time and time again I couldn't bring myself to do it. I felt like my style wasn't enough for an 11. So quite literally out of spite, I charted Ars Cantate. It was an experience, this song wasn't easy to chart for me. I remember the last sections I charted were the speedup sections (To the point that I rushed the second speedup (*cough cough* like Love Ward))...
And here I am. 6th place. That's an achievement for me, on par with Ukiyo-e Alley! Despite all the struggles, I enjoyed the final product, and I'm happy you all enjoyed it too.

One of the people who rated this here. The Special section of this charting contest was really messy and there were a lot of charts that failed to succeed in whatever they tried to do (looking at you Antler by Juggernaut.) This, however, ended up being one of my favorites of the entire selection. I'm not sure if it's my favorite for sure, but top 2 definitely. The charting is brilliant and isn't overcharted, the line art is beautifully crafted, and there's so many creative approaches to the song's structure that blends in amazingly with the chart. That sky note ending is amazing and while hard at first, is very satisfying to pull off once yoou get the rhythm down.
The fact that according to you the second speed up section was rushed and yet it still turned out to be amazing??? Hello??? This, and much more, is why I gave this chart 5 points, because it very much deserved every point. Thank you for making this, as I still play it to this day, having an EX+ on it.
