Agree or disagree w Pope Frances, we need to pray for him and the Church. While it may feel disrespectful when some priests (who have been removed by Pope Frances) refer to him by his birth name, we have to listen to what concerns them too. Following blindly is not good in either direction. Pray and stay focused on Jesus and ask the Holy Spirit for discernment. Honestly what else can we do?

Actually no we shouldnt take a word of those who dissent from the Holy Father serious at all!
Pope St. Pius X said of dissenters
*Therefore, when we love the Pope, there are no discussions regarding what he orders or demands, or up to what point obedience must go, and in what things he is to be obeyed; when we love the Pope, we do not say that he has not spoken clearly enough, almost as if he were forced to repeat to the ear of each one the will clearly expressed so many times not only in person, but with letters and other public documents; we do not place his orders in doubt, adding the facile pretext of those unwilling to obey - that it is not the Pope who commands, but those who surround him; we do not limit the field in which he might and must exercise his authority; we do not set above the authority of the Pope that of other persons, however learned, who dissent from the Pope, who, even though learned, ARE NOT HOLY, BECAUSE WHOEVER IS HOLY CANNOT DISSENT FROM THE POPE.*

This was a very enlightening video. I always learn so much from Fr Iannuzzi. I'm still pondering about what Fr said about a priest who is not in a state of grace who can still absolve and consecrate. No disrespect, but I want the priest who I am trusting in to be in a state of grace.
I'm honestly not familiar with RC politics, especially concerning the Pope, Vatican ll, and all of the infighting that seems to go on. As a Byzantine Catholic, I was taught at home and school to respect the Pope bc he's appointed by God to lead the church. I feel if we're not being told to do something that goes against church teachings, Idh a problem.
One thing that does bother me is how ppl malign the priests featured here if they don't like, agree, or understand their opinions. I've seen a lot of extreme dislike of Fr Iannuzzi. Someone in their comment called him an apostate and espousing false teachings. Everyone's entitled to their opinions but don't attack others who don't share your feelings. That's what the non Catholics who post here do.

Jesus sent out the twelve, and they all cast out demons - including Judas. And remember that Caiphas, the High Priest, prophesied when he said 'it is better that one man suffer and die than that the whole people be desteoyed.' If even Caiphas could proohesy, and he was plotting to kill Jesus then how much more can we trust that the Spirit of God will keep the promises He made at the ordination of our priests ? It is not their faithfulness that we trust, bit the faithfulness of God.

      @pennierkaide4985 Před 4 měsíci

@blindknitter I get what you're saying, and I know priests are human and make mistakes and sin. I still would like to know that the man I'm trusting for absolution is absolved himself. How could I be a good nurse but perform procedures I'm not allowed to perform even though I'm more than capable. I'm sure the patient is trusting that not only do I know what to do but also legally permitted to do said procedure.

      @@irishandscottish1829 Hi my friend
As a layman the only thing I can do is pray for conversions of souls, not only for our church leaders, but for mine as well,,, if the pope or any church leaders, tell you to jump you’re just gonna do it knowing it contradicts church teachings that’s sad, you and me have a responsibility. Yes, of course praying living in the state of grace, following church teachings, but also defend our church from evil.,,, by speaking up being engaged being involved in our church, that’s the problem too many people silent, with love and charity, but we have to duty and the responsibility to question what it’s not right,, it takes courage I get it, but can’t just sit at home with your arms crossed,,,
If you have the opportunity of a lifetime being in front Pope Francis or any other powerful church leader, what will you ask him? There’s nothing wrong with the church right now or we are in chaos,, anyways, pray for courage because we’re living in the spiritual warfare and it’s sad. Many people don’t see it they are blind. It’s easy just to be quiet I get it but sad. I’m not judging your soul only our Lord does just your actions.

I don’t know why so many here in the USA feel they have the right to bash the Pope and condemn him and even make claims he is a heretic.
Fr. Iannuzzi gave the great distinction of the two different approaches Jesus had in Scripture.
It seems that many trads hate the merciful approach that Pope Francis is taking. I never seen him once say that sin is ok. But he speaks to the sinner tenderly. Because it is only the grace of Jesus that can bring a person to conversion. If we put up roadblocks to them, then that may harden their hearts and keep them from coming to Christ and His Church. The lack of love, levels of fear, anxiety & the entities' constant need for appeasement must whisper to their souls that something is wrong, that living life like this isn't worth it. I could expand this further but you get the drift. My favourite scripture is Isiah's "The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light", coz who would swap the light for eternal darkness once they've seen the light‽

I don't fully agree with Fr Iannuzzi (I hope I've spelled the name right), said about Church teaching : around the minute 11:42 he stated that is presumptuous to reject Church teaching, unless full knowledge is given beforehand. Now, I agree that it could be the case, if we assumed (as I do),that Church teaching are grounded on Divine Revelation : if this is the case, yes it would be presumptuous of me, to reject something I believe to be of Divine origins, only because I can't fully grasp it. Let's take however, someone who is not a baptized self professed Catholic : would it be presumptuous of Him /Her to reject something He doesn't fully understand?

Why does our church want us to stay obedient and stupid...biblically ? Why is it bad to ask questions? Jesus exposed problems in the church...I think we should too. Our Blessed Mother said that many priests are going to hell and taking their followers with them. We need to be awake and alert....not woke!

If you do a modicum of research you will learn about ‘pachamama’ that it was an Inca goddess and the Incas hailed from what is modern day Peru.
The amazonians are not from where the Inca goddess was worshipped and again if you actually bother researching the amazonians have never worshipped Inca goddesses.
The lack of history and geography knowledge in so many Catholics is shocking.
As for your ‘homosexual blessings’ just stop it. Homosexual couples are not being blessed - go and actually read FS nothing in that document goes against the teachings of Christs bride something acknowledged even by the Bishops who say they can’t implement the document in their country due to secular laws - something the document permits!
I mean heaven forbid a sinner gets a blessing to over come their sin - you sound exactly like the Pharisee who thought they were a better sinner than the tax collector who couldn’t raise his head or stop striking his breast
Our blessed mother didn’t say what priests are leading those to hell - it can just be as easily all those priests who are promoting dissent in the faithful by not encouraging and reminding us we are to be obedient to the Holy Father and ascent to his teachings.
I strongly suggest you don’t try adding to private revelations of Our Lady!

The pachamama story was false. That was a statue made to be the Amazonian representation of the Virgin Mary called “Our Lady of the Amazon”. Pachamama isn’t even Brazilian, it was Incan/Peruvian. People who push that story clearly didn’t do their basic research in ancient cultures.
Homosexual marriages are not being blessed, just the people being blessed.

I quite admired Pope John Paul II; My gut felt ill at ease with Pope Benedict but I thought his faith was strong; with Pope Francis, I not only have that same ill at ease gut feeling, but his close associations with people like Father James Martin and his allowing of that Argentinian priest during his Satanic-looking rock concert during that recent World Youth Day gathering further enhanced my gut feelings about the pope. I understand Father Iannuzzi's teachings and I have been working on this issue since about September of last year (causing me to delay going through RCIA--which has been ripping my heart even further) but I have been unable to quell my gut feelings. The problem with your situation is: why bother following Vatican-related news at all😂 they are all not even from the official Vatican media. You actually just need to focus on your life within your local parish. The Pope is dealing with world issues. And also multigenerational issues. He has to listen to bishops from across the world. Let him do his work. And also: more prayers, more intense adherence to the church practices, more armor of God, and we will start to see how world media manipulates, and we shall see how the Pope has come to speak those words. Once we let go of our desire for earthly success, our faithless pessimism, our hatred, we shall understand more about Pope Francis.

Francis is often not very clear. He writes things that could be taken two ways, which the media and the liberals twist to their way of thinking. However many of his homilies are very good. He seems to be influenced in politics by conditions where he was raised. I think he is sometimes imprudent but he has not changed doctrine or dogma, and he cannot. Anyway, this is the pope God permitted to be elected and we need to respect his position. It is the duty of the bishops as a group and even individually to correct him, respectfully. We need to pray for him. Dont be afraid to come into the church. The Holy Spirit is in charge.

Vatican I is clear that he, and only he has universal jurisdiction in all matters of faith, morals and church government. He could indeed refine and develop doctrine, and with infallibility. But as you say, he has never done so. I think the rebellious priests and bishop(s) are the ones acting from political motives particular to their countries. I hope the next pope takes a harder line than Francis has against public insubordination.

I am Mexican bien living in México and never heard of that supposed 'deidity" not even among Aztec or Mayan idols (pre Spanish conquest). Unfortunately some very bad people are actually worshipping "the Grim Reaper,"" the Death"(with skull, bones and scythe) or "la Muerte" as you may call it, it seems to be a branch of some satanic cult. However that does not surprise me some of the gods or idols in ancient Egypt and Canaan (Old Testament) are actually demons masked as gods who were worshipped by Pagan people according to the records of some demons's names made by some exorcists. P.S. Try to make a short video about the legend of the Weeping Woman "La llorona" a Mexican paranormal legend from the Church/Exorcist point of view if possible.P.S.2. I am Roman Catholic with regards to the current Bishop of Rome I do not badmouth him but I do believe in the Word of God and what Jesus said in the Book of Truth about Pope Benedict was the last true Pope of God on this World, and the next Pope after Benedict will be the False Prophet from the Book of Revelations. The Book of Truth was foretold in both the Book of Daniel and the Book of Revelations for the end times. After Jesus himself according to scriptures revealed who really is the current man in the Seat of Peter I cannot betray him because it would be like when the Apostles were told to obey the orders from Caiaphas (Jewish Pope at the time) and to stop the preaching of the gospels against God's orders.

Truth. Of course we obviously shouldn't focus on Those demons who simply distractions us. Away far from Christ. That's what all these monsters in the world are. Mythical but not fictional in the sense that they're really spiritual beings lacking physical mortal body. But are immortal that is until God kills their spirit. That's what's annoying. Is that we cant get any single piece of physically evidence for them to touch and hold. But of course they're real I don't need to hold them as scientific as some of us we are. Though they leave burn marks to prove someone was there it's truly pointless gawking at some demons appearances. There is evidence they can kill humans but not by the millions every day. Couple here and there. every now and then from time past time future time present again again. I certainly pray more people focus on Christ. Than on what evil humans and evil spirits are doing. Evil. Jesus Christ will give them that 0-1! They so wanna see and the 1+ is Christ. God bless all Christians amen
