      @@unknownwarrior7255hi i have red, hard, painless bumps in the upper gums. I told doctors and they said it's nothing to worry. Now noticed i have white bumps in the upper left side of the gums and still it's not painless so i am thinking i shouldn't care about it.

    I just finished chemo and radiation for throat cancer.
    Other warning signs I know of because this is how it happened for me: I had an earache that came and went for 3 months before I finally had it checked plus a bump on the inside of my mouth that was not painful. By the time I had the biopsy it was too large to operate on. Get oral "bumps" checked out right away!!!

      @@shantayadams3194 I am doing amazing!!! It is 5 months post-treatment and I have had a clear PET scan. My stamina is back up to 85%. I still drink all my nutrition because I don't really have an appetite, but I do try to eat "something" each day. My voice is coming back and is much louder now, but I still sound like I have a cold. My mouth is still dry and I use a gel to keep it moist (available on Amazon). My hair is growing back and it's at a really awkward stage. I know it is a long-game and I am patient to wait. Thanks for your prayers. I am blessed.

      What the bump look like? I have a small lump. Under my tounge, it’s tender to touch, I went to the dentist and said it could be salivary gland that is blocked. But still. Can’t thinking about it. She referred me to an oral surgeon. And the waiting time is like a month. I don’t have any swollen lymph nodes, or any swollen on my face or neck, the X-ray I got. Has no lump in or any unusual thing inside. But. She can feel a tiny like mungo seeds. Like bump, or cyst in there. Now I’m scared it could be cancer. Since it doesn’t go away, and it’s been three months since I found it. I don’t know how long it’s been on my tounge, but it doesn’t hurt. And have no other symptoms

    • @mindimartian9821
      @mindimartian9821 Před rokem +1

      @@miyazakiendo3743 I don't really know what the bump looked like because I never shined a flashlight into my mouth. I could feel it by curling my tongue up to it. The first person to see it was an "urgent care" doctor who told me it needed to be imaged right away "because it might be cancer". I didn't have insurance and she told me to go to the ER because they have to do it. I did that (and filed for indigent status following the visit and was accepted). The ER referred me to an ENT (ear nose throat) doctor for a biopsy "because it might be cancer". I went to the ENT doctor, I got insurance, I got the biopsy. Shazam!!! It was cancer. If you're scared and you can't wait a month, get your lump imaged at the ER, and do whatever you have to do next.
      (Edit: my bump was also tender to touch)

      @@mindimartian9821 May I know how big the bump is? Mine is really small like. And I don’t have any lumps or bumps inside my face or in my neck, I also don’t have swollen neck or any other symptoms, it’s just a small like cystic acne under my tounge. Did you went to an CT scan? MRI? I’m in Canada, how much did you pay for it? I don’t have insurance as I’m not working rn due to having kids. How much did you pay for it? And also? What stage you’re cancer? Sorry you got that. I have an appointment next week. Im really hoping for you’re recovery. And hopefully the cancer didn’t spread in you lympnodes and other parts of the body. Now I’m more scared whatever this is. 😰

    I went to my GP doctor for a black medium size circle on my tongue. Like the size of the tip of my pinky. They didn’t diagnose me with anything and instead referred me to a specialist. In my area the earliest a specialist could see me is late February. It is currently mid Dec as I’m typing this. I’m so terrified that things will get worse and they’re not even seeing me soon enough and no one even knows what is wrong with me
    Should I just get a second opinion at a dentist in the meantime?

      leukoplakia is not a cancer. However in some cases it can develop into cancer so it is concered as precancerous state. Luckily this is pretty rare but leukoplakia should always be treated because of the cancer risk.

      Could be harpies simplex, or a lot of other things. Keep looking. If your under 30 I wouldn't worry to much. Don't take my advice. I'm dying from a rare cancer. 2-3 months and I gone. I did say very rare. Couldn't diagnose me in time. Doctors never herd of it before. 1-2 million come down with this shit. Me and God been talking a lot lately. That's a good thing? I hope...
