I think this is a good example of how a sketch book should be. I see too many examples of people trying to fill a book with a perfect masterpiece on every page, and I don't really understanding the point of that. The whole point of a sketchbook is that it's a tool for thinking, recording/observing and practicing. Good work.
And yeah the sketchy stuff is the best bit, I like it when some drawings are unfinished and done quickly.

I used to be like that, too much of a perfectionist. It definitely is worth getting out of that habit, it's too restrictive.
I am one of those people does a lot of finished pieces in my sketchbook... But it is not Because i want masterpieces but i don't like "unfinished" stuff.... Maybe Because of all the years i did not finish drawings and stuff...

Thanks man! Im a freelance filmmaker. But I plan my days and use simple habits to find time to draw( example -sketchbooks) and I wake up 3 hours early to draw as well(not perfect but still try my best)

How do you find the time to do all this?! I have so much work for school and never know how to fit in the art :(
Artis my priority, I dont find time, I make it. Try doing small sketches right after you wake up or right before bed, that's what helped me get through school :)
Kesh ART But what if you have a really tight schedule?
I wake up at 5 on school days to be on time.
I go home usually around 6:30 to 7 at night
then I have 3 hours of homework usually then I have other projects due in the next week or so.
I usually go to sleep at 1 am which means I get 4 hours of sleep a day.
Where can I sneak in some time for sketching?
I'm not Kesh but if you really want some advice then I'd suggest you sketch in school at recess or on the weekends, also remember that sleeping 6 to 8 hours is essential for a good functional mind and you'd need creativity flowing if you want to sketch. Health should be before anything else I say but you do what you need to do.
